On these teams I've taken their last year ranking for offense and defense for total yards and point ranking , and then look at their returning players to see what they lost in scoring players and defensive players. also their strength of who they lost to and wooped .

welcome back SJ - I think Nebraska is under the radar. their offense will be quite good, and their D will be better. plus, prior to the Fresno game, they will make a dedication to the family of their what was to be their starting punter Sam Foltz, who died in a car crash in July while serving as a counselor for a kicking camp in Wisc. Though Neb DL is very inexperienced and suspect, I think Neb is going to play out of their minds at night at Lincoln considering these circumstances against Fresno State. Not one of my top 4, but I have incorporated into some of my parlays for week 1. GL this season!

I liked it at 20, but I think 23 is a little too high with a Tennessee team that has performance anxiety naturally. We will see though.

I like this bet, I think they will destroy Auburn.
Georgia - 3
Love this bet, I think GA will have a great season with Kirby as the new coach and Chubb running for the Heisman.
Nebraska - 29
Boise St. - 20
USC + 10
USC might not score in this game, and I am being completely serious about that... We did not lose a step on defense, and possibly got better.

You need to factor in SOS if you are going to go by that... If a teams defense is ranked 1st in the nation, but they play in a conference with average defensive rankings below 50, then what does that really tell you?
