Evidently the line opened at Louisiana Tech +14.5. Man, I wish I could have hit that. Not quite as much as I wish I could "hit" Heather Graham, but close. Just the same, I am going to fade Marshall for a second straight week. I made a haul taking WKU last week at both +21 and +24.5, and I am putting half of those winnings on LT +12.
I think the LT defense could give Cato some real problems. As I stated last week, I knew going into the WKU game that Marshall would score a ton on the horrible WKU defense. My play was simply that my boys Doughty, Dangerfield and Allen would keep up with them, which proved spot on. I see this game differently. LT actually does have a defense.....and an offense. I said last week that I thought WKU might very well win the game, and I'll say it again this week: LT, a double digit dog, may very well win this game. But I'll take the points.
No guarantees, and we'll see what happens, but I really like Louisiana Tech +12.

Beningo - I think OR may cover 14 because they are playing the best football they have ever played with Mariota. Their offensive line has also gotten healthy. I just don't love this line. Arizona has been a real headache for Oregon, and 14 is a lot of points to cover. Anu Solomon is a stud. Kind of surprised the line isn't in the -10.5 range, and I just cannot see it staying at -14.5....that is just begging for an AZ bet. I may play 1H or bet it in-game. BOL

This line has absolutely plummeted in the few days since my Louisiana Tech +12 post (no, not saying it's because of my post, lol). Funny thing is, it's not even known if Devon Johnson is playing. I don't think it really matters, because he racked up his 3rd best rushing in country against garbage defenses. Not saying he's not a great RB, just saying stats are skewed. Regardless, Butler is a very capable back-up. Whether it's Butler or Johnson, LT defense is far more stout than WKU.
One thing I've noticed about Cato is that as great of an athlete as he is, he is not always the best decision maker. We saw some really poor reads and throws last week. If LT defense can get some pressure on him, I think we'll see some turnovers. In fact, I'll go out on a limb and predict right now that LT has at least a +2 turnover advantage in this game.
Good luck LT backers!

It never opened there, it was 11 and now will probably go to 14 as half the team has just been suspended at the last minute. Maybe they'll suspend the game. fukk!

Winner, cash those tickets!!
Marshall is DAMN LUCKY that LT sat 5 starters, or they likely would have lost this game. Back to back monster Saturday plays hit!!
