This wont be a popular play, but I like what I see.
I did not go back beyond 10 years for this rivalry but UNDER is 9-1 the last 10 and neither of those posted numbers were even close to the one we are getting Saturday. In fact the average number has been in the 40's and mostly in the low 40's. The only game that went Over the Mark was 6 years ago and it did so by 1 point. It is simply that kind of series, i had the UNDER last year in this game and almost always do. Yes we have 2 great offensive teams and yes the Bama QB will be back. But we also have the #15 and #19 defenses on the field and you can best bet that both will come to play. I could probably talk days about why UNDER is the HIGH % Play here but there is no reason to.

LSU and BAMA both have electrifying offenses that now have the ability to have big plays at any moment. Obviously Vegas understands this but these teams aren't anywhere close to the past 10 years compared to what they're used to. usually they rely on their running backs but both teams now have a quarterback and are an all around better offense. It will be interesting if Tua is healthy or not for Bama to still score at the rate they can.

I agree, I think it goes way under. Big time SEC games hardly ever go over and giving two of the best coached and most talented defenses in the nation two weeks to prepare for these offenses will be a big advantage. I think the game will be played a lot slower than people think too. I think bama will to try to establish the run and throw quick to protect Tua.

Also disagree about using the past scoring against the two current offenses, neither has ever been this explosive in their entire history. I think the biggest risk to the over is how healthy Tua's ankle is. Probably will play, but report from Danielson at CBS, he wasn't moving as well at practice this week. And there is the possibility, he will not risk an injury if he is in doubt at all. On the other side, this is a one score game using the spread, the problem with Unders in a close game is what can happen if there is OT. Personally don't think the OT should be included since bet is based on regulation 60 minutes, but that is the rule currently. Both defenses have flaws this year, and offenses have been unstoppable so, a small play for me on the over. GL to all. May also take a small bet on LSU. Get your popcorn boys, this should be a good one.
