I would think down because people know that:

-Armys strategy of running plays which kills the clock

-Points will be at a premium

-Come the 2nd half, IF Michigan is winning by 2+ possessions, they too will run out the clock and "lock" it down

Thus, taking a 3+ possession spread is more "valuable" due to BOTH teams killing the clock.

I didn't take a side for this game but I DID lock it in early yesterday with the U48.5 (-120)..

Army stank up the filed vs Rice.  My guess is big blue pounds them

Michigan didn&#x27;t look all that great against Middle Tennessee either.  You have to think Harbaugh will have them better prepared for this one.  Another thing to consider is that its unlikely Michigan will run up the score against a service academy.  This game will probably be a pass for me but if I did bet I would take the points.

I agree with jmw , I would expect Michigan to have this one covered by halftime or by middle 3rd.

Preseason, I had this game circled, perfect spot for Army. After watching them struggle with RICE, I decided to place a medium wager on Michigan. Air Force will win the CIC trophy this year

I really am leaning Michigan side in this game, I just would like to get it at 21 if at all possible.

The reality is Michigans still doubted largely and they are fully aware they need to style on some teams, if they are capable of doing so the offense will try to do that. They need a blow out with some offense, will they do it is the question.
