gavin, I follow LSU closely...if the tigers were 3 pt favorites, I might be on ole miss....I am copying and pasting this from my post in the MLB forum...
here are a couple of interesting bits of info...LSU has not lost at home in the same year to both miss st and ole miss since 1956, I just heard that on college game day on espn, and I found this on the internet....LSU is 45-4 SU at Tiger Stadium at night under Les Miles. Three of the losses occurred to teams that were either ranked No. 1 or became ranked No. 1. ..
also last season in Starkville the bulldogs were a 12 pt favorite and won SU 28-22 but didn't cover ATS... this season the key personnel on both teams are almost identical and now we ask miss st to go on the road and lay 14 1/2 to a team wanting to bounce back after a humiliating loss in death valley.. you asked for advice...im not advising, just pointing some things out, that you may want to consider...

they are, but down compared to what?... their 2 losses, both bad, were to teams now ranked 1 and 5...ole miss hasn't played an extremely impressive schedule, except for their win over Alabama, which was at home.. they beat vandy on the road and texas a&m, now exposed as a fraud. this is the rebels first true road test and the tigers will be seeking to avenge a bad last second loss in oxford last season....

why the f*ck would this info even matter? I swear cover posters always try to find these useless trends and info just to justify their pick and make them a great capper

first, it would be helpful if you learned how to read, or at least comprehend what you read... I quote myself from the initial post

I never said this mattered, and I NEVER made a pick. do you see where I explicitly said I was on LSU?...NO, cause I rarely play games where I have an emotional interest. tonight the red wings play the flyers in philly, and haven't won there in like 20 something straight games.....does that mean the flyers are automatic to beat them again?...of course not, each game stands on its own merit, BUT streaks involving sports teams are INTERESTING as I find it peculiar that the same thing happens so often for no statistical reason. a great handicapper is one that makes substantial $$ at this, and those are few. I admittedly am not among them, but I do hold my own with the books. posting in covers means nothing in judging ones ability to sort out winners and losers.
