Mizzou -6.5 at Ms State

I'm laying the points here with Mizzou.  The cowbell ringers are pitiful this year and have absolutely no defense, and they have nothing left in the tank.  If they have any effort left in them they are saving it for the Egg Bowl against Ole Miss.  Missouri is still in the hunt for a good bowl game and they are still trying hard.  I look for Mizzou to roll in this one.

only concern I would have would be the Tigers coming off that gut-wrenching loss Saturday 

That is certainly a concern.  But they hung in there with a very good SC team that is miles better than MSU in my opinion.  Unless Mizzou just completely overlooks them they should win by double digits.  State hasn't won a SEC game all year and the closest they have come is losing by 10 points.

You are right, this has Bowl implications.

in this case I’m betting on MS ST +7.5 

Okay but the only FBS team they have beaten all year is UMass.  They lost to Toledo at home 41-17.  They are losing by large margins every week.

The line opened at Mizzou -6.5 and I thought it was gold at that time.  Now it's 7.5 and not quite as tasty but still some value I think.  

MSST has covered against Texas , UGA, A&M, and Tennessee.

 LIKE IT. I had a chance to get it at -6 1/2 but was trying to find out about Cook, their quarterback. I didn't know if he got banged up against S. C.

Good luck Carter, whatever you decide.  I just think we have a decent SEC team here going up against the worst team in the SEC who has likely quit trying or caring.  Regardless of the QB I will ride the Tigers here.  State is winless in the SEC and has lost every game by 10+ points.  Don't overthink this one.
