The Huskers just started their actual schedule and are no longer playing patsies, and their weak defense reared its pathetic head last week against VA Tech. We all know that Missouri has 10 times the offense of VA Tech and they'll run/ pass through the Huskers defense like shit through a goose. Roll with the Tigers BIGTIME in this ESPN Saturday night blowout!!!! Prediction: Tigers 47, Huskers 20.

I'm a Big XII follower also and this won't be an easy game. MU hasn't won in Lincoln in 30 years. Maybe they will this week but the cover is a ? Line is -10.5 for MU, lots of road chalk to cover on the conference opener. The under 69 looks interesting.

im not gunna get in a bitchin match with anyone but if you actually watched the neb vatech game you would be able to honestly admit that the neb offense lost that game and not the defense. its obvious that the neb D is giving up yards but they are doing good in the red zone. neb offense lost the time of pos by 10 min, they were 2 of 11 on third down and had 55 rush yards.
honestly i dont know whats gunna happen we could get our asses kicked but i would hope we (neb) keep it close and yes it is a big deal mizzou hasnt won here in 30 years. plus pinkle isnt a good coach i dont give a shit what anyone says

VT is the 108th ranked Offense in the country... Their Offense is anemic... and they got 370+ yds at Neb... VT was averaging only 293yds/game, and that's against the ECU (who got lit up by HOU), FURMAN, NC, and GT.... FURMAN held VT offense to less yards and points...
I think Pelini will get them going.. I really like him and think he'll do the right things.. He just doesn't have the horses yet...
Whether or not Mizzou is a top 5 team, they are pretty darn good...
And saying Pinkle is a bad coach is LUDICROUS... He has done an outstanding job... Mizzou can compete with anyone (didn't say would win against everyone, but compete.. and they can beat anyone)... and Mizzou's 2 deep is not near like OU, TX, USC, LSU, AUB, FLA, etc... as for players on campus, Mizzou will NOT have as many Sunday players as these schools... so therefore Pinkle is doing a great job....

agree with pretty much everything you said...Yes the D looked bad several times but Va Tech basically only had 1 real td drive...which was greatly aided by a questionable pf call when Neb had them stopped on 3rd...when you give the ball to a team at your own 5 and 33 it's kinda hard to be down on the defense for giving up 2 td's there...
I question the play calling more than anything...and why is helu not getting more carries?

NO Pinkle is not a good coach...it's kinda easy to run up the scores on mediocre teams with 2 heismann candidates in your backfield...
