GUYS ANYONE HERE THINK THAT NC STATE AT HOME ON THURSDAY OR CONNECTICUT AT HOME ON FRIDAY HAS A GOOD CHANCE AT WINNING AS HOME UNDERDOGS MONEYLINE? I'M NOT TOO FAMILIAR WITH THE TWO OF THEM.
I AM THINKING OF TAKING NC STATE MONEYLINE ON THURSDAY. AND IF I HIT THAT THEN SKIP FRIDAY AND BET ON SATURDAY'S GAMES. IF NC STATE LOSES, THEN I'LL DOUBLE DOWN ON CONNECTICUT MONEYLINE ON FRIDAY.
WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

THANKS! OH MAN! I FORGOT ABOUT THAT SYRACUSE LOSS THIS PAST SATURDAY. SYRACUSE DEFENSE WAS PRETTY GOOD AGAINST WAS THAT SOUTH FLORIDA TWO WEEKS AGO? AND THEN SYRACUSE DEFENSE WAS NON EXISTENT AGAINST PITTSBURGH.
SO PERHAPS THE BEST BET HERE IS NC STATE AT HOME BACK THEM. THEN BACK WEST VIRGINIA AS A ROAD FAVE. HMMMM. MAYBE.
OR PERHAPS BACK FSU AS A ROAD FAVE ON THE POINT SPREAD. THEN IF IT COVERS SKIP FRIDAY. IF NOT, THEN BACK WVU DOUBLE DOWN AS ROAD FAVES ON FRIDAY IF FSU DOESN'T COVER THURSDAY.
IS THAT A BETTER WAY TO GO BY THIS?

Stay away from UCONN. They have no offense with their QB suspended for the year. They have a decent RB but he's not going to get off much on this WVU defense. You get shutout by Louisville, I don't care if it's on the road or not, you're going to lose to a West Virginia team who is coming off an embarrassing loss! I mean yeah UCONN's at home, but I've never heard of that being a place people should be scared to play at lol!
As far as NC State. At first I thought they were just over-achieving but I think they're a legitimately decent team. I know the loss to East Carilona hurt their cred but they came back from 21-0 down to force OT. I mean you can't take away the loss but at the end of the day, they did out score ECU 27-12 from that point on!
The problem with NC State is their defense. They had a chance to win that ECU game after kicking the go ahead FG and blew it. Then gave up a TD in OT. I think that is where the edge goes to FSU in this game. Aside from the Oklahoma game their defense great. To much speed, to much athleticism, I hate to take chalk in both games but I think both teams win outright and cover the spread on the road. Again, I might be a nut but I always say that superior talent beats home field advantage. These teams aren't evenly matched talent wise. FSU and WVU bring in top 20 recruiting classes year in and year out. UCONN and NC State don't even sniff those kind of prospects!

I think WVU line is too high. Yes, Endres is out but you're talking about a UConn defense is pretty darn decent. Their rushing offense isn't too shabby itself. They avg 5.2 yds/rush. That's a first down every two tries. WVU's rush defense allows 4.5 yds/rush on the road and Coach Stu is definitely someone who cares to run up the score. Everyone's jumping off the Uconn bandwagon because people saw them get jacked these last two games against UL and Rutgers. These were two away games that put them in a bad spot and on top of that, they lose their starting QB. I can gurantee you that people have a bad perception of Uconn since watching them lose on national TV against Rutgers. I believe they bounce back and have a good outing on Friday. Not only that... WVU is coming off a very disappointing loss to a double digit dog. Teams coming off a SU loss as double digit favs lose at a 60% rate. Especially when they have to travel on the road the following week. But hey, what do I know.

Fade... How was Uconn in a bad spot vs RU, a team that blows this year? Shutout by Lousiville only scored 10 vs a bad Mich Defense. Uconn has no QB, WVU is the play here 24-10.

Rutgers Weeknight Home Game on National TV = Bad spot
Coming off a short week and having to play on the road = Bad spot
Coming off a blowout win against an SEC team = Bad spot
Do you need anymore bad spots?

Let me ask you this... where did Uconn play all those games you just mentioned??? Ahh yes... one the road my friend.
So let me get this straight? You think a team that rushes for 5.2yrds/carry is a bad team??? 5.2yrds/rush!!! that's a first down every two plays big dog! Has WVU played anyone that rushed for 5.2yds/rush?? The answer is... NOPE! LSU didn't even rush for 5yds/carry. All you have to do is look up your stats. It's fine if you wanna throw up away/road pts in my face, but you do realize they're playing at Uconn, right!

Fade...WVU has no QB to worry about, they will be selling out to stop the run, Big East is awful and Uconn is at the bottom this year, who have they beaten at home? Vandy, wow that a real solid win at home They have played noone at home that is why they are undefeated.

Who said anything about UConn at home? All I said was that you were claiming UConn was shitty. Ummm, obviously you are not gonna be as good on the road as you are at home. And if you wanna compare schedules... their SOS's are both identical, so WVU hasn't played anyone besides LSU. Oh and BTW, I stand corrected. WVU allowed 5yds/rush against the mighty and unstoppable force that is called MARSHALL! buwahahaha. who lets Marshall run for 5 yds/rush on you. Oh that's right! WVU does. We shall C! Cburk. You put your money on Coach Stu-ball and I'll put my money on the better coach w/the HF adv, plus getting pts. Obviously you're caught up in the Neer's hype with Geno & Co. but I'll wish you GL on this play as I have a pretty good trend on this game that covers about 60% of the time.

The bottom line is this, Uconn is one dimensional, if WVU can stop the run, blowout, if they can't, the game will be close.
You just took the words right outta my mouth. If they can't stop the run, the game will be close. WVU can't stop the run on the road. They allow 4.5 yds/rush. That'll equate to 3and1 for Mr. Toddman & crew all night. But like I said, GL to you and I know this for sure... one of us will win.
