Should be an interesting year for MSU... the offense is loaded and should put up points all year. The ground game has a stable of horses in Edwin Baker and Leveon Bell. Kirk Cousins is a solid and experienced play caller that if given time should be able to complete a high percentage with few turnovers.
The question mark for MSU is the defense. They lost their star LB Greg Jones. The Spartans still have some talent in the cupboard though... Gholston and Worley are beasts
Youngstown has some talent on the offensive side of the ball. Kurt Hess at QB and Jamine Cook are both talented players...Hess the player of the year last year is young. Spartan stadium at night will not be a kind environment to play in.
Mark Dantonio coached for Youngstown... MSU will play Cousins for maybe just the 1st half...unless the game is close... they want Maxwell to get reps and the 2nd half of blowout is a good time for that.
I am going to go with MSU -19.5 1st half. Its a hot night in East Lansing and I expect the Spartan offensive line to dominate and for Cousins to exploit a weak secondary early and often in the first half.
good luck everyone

I think I'm going MSU -14...I think the worst they do is push, they played as rusty as they could and still have an 8 point lead. I look for them to score early and then open it up..

Sparty, agreed, this is completely embarrassing for MSU, but theres still time for them to turn it on. At least they are winning though, remember a few years back Michigan wasn't that lucky.

They will need to improve a ton on the lines if they are going to contend for the Big Ten title.... if your getting run on by YSU... just imagine want Nebraska and Wisky will do.
