Michigan - whatever the spread is under 20, it moved almost 3 points already so whatever you can get under 20 (which won't matter anyway is gold) unless you get refs in your back pocket like virginia did to cover vs ducks two weeks ago.....i digress
Michigan will look to lay the wood here. Expect top corner to be back for wolverines as he was really missed last week. Michigan just played subpar against similar style team in colorado and still went on to almost cover the #.
I've watched tape of PSU last 3 days and this team is not good. More importantly, they are very very banged up on defense. After getting gashed by Pitt they have since lost all three starting linebackers to injury. They have a banged up secondary who was without starter CB Haley last week and starting DE Schwann as well. PSU has 50 freshman or sophomores on their team of 85. They have a new OC, DC, and o line coach. They are just learning, lets call them kittens. Oh and their o-line is better but still below average if you ask me.
Harbs is pissed. The team played like crap last week until the final stages. I look for them to come out start to finish extremely focused. Penn St and Michigan get into serious recruiting battles, Harbs will look to drive a point home to recruits. Heck, Peppers was supposed to go to PSU but did not cause of the sanctions. They battle for kids. Harbs is ready to make a B1G statement in the opener and all the town has said all week is how good Michigan State is. That bothers Harbs and will look to be the talk of town with a blowout win as Michigan State Wisconsin play early game. Don't think it matters, you don't know Jimmy Harbs.
PSU is young, their coaches are new, their head coach is a bozo, and they are very injured on defense. And their kick and punt team are horrible defending. Dont be horrible with Mr. Peppers getting the ball.
I look for Michigan to put up a modest 45. PSU plays "fast" like Oregon or at least tries to and they have perhaps perhaps the most talented RB in the country in Saquon Barkley, kid is special. But their o-line will be no match for the rotations the Michigan D-line has. And quite frankly they don't get him in space catching the ball very well or enough and the new offense in shotgun seems to slow him down a bit from a pro style. Just what i notice.
Michigan 45
PSU 17

Thx Hoos, u a Virginia fan, I'm sure you do hate PSU. They get a lot of kids from your neck of the woods to play there. Maybe a good thing hackenberg did

almost grabbed it at 16 like MWS said but just felt like a bit much in a conference game so I passed
hope you win because I like cheering against Penn St and that goof of a coach
4th and goal from the 3, down 28 in the 3rd quarter. You'd think Franklin would go for it, but he decides for a FG. Then he burns a timeout rather than take a delay of game penalty. WTF? Like an extra 5 yards will hurt his chances to cut the lead to 25...

I was pissed too, as I had the game over 56.5. By some miracle, they scored 3 TD in the 4th...
