Week 1 = MSU -6.5 vs. Boise (Loss) Week 2 = Florida +2 at A&M (Win) Week 3 = ND +6 at MSU (Win) Week 4 = BYU +7.5 at Boise (Win) Week 5 = BC +7 vs. Clemson (Loss) Week 6 = FLA +3 (hook) vs. LSU (Win) Week 7 = S. Car +3 vs. LSU
Week 8 - take USF +6 at L'Ville
You've got the #17th ranked undefeated L'Ville Cardinals at home only giving 6 to 2-4 USF? The is the fishiest line on the board in my opinion. USF coming off a bye, a win here would help right the ship. Public is hammering L'Ville, take the points here in what should turn out to be a close game. When the line makes no sense, side with Vegas.

Abizzo24...South Fl has played a much tougher schedule per Sagarin. I look at efficiency ratings at Football Outsiders and they are about even with Louisville at 45th and S. Fla at 47th. I am a contrarian bettor and I somehow missed this. Thanks for pointing this out. I will be on S. Fla +6 this week.
Good Luck!

- USF off bye week - L'Ville hasn't been that impressive lately (looks at last few games, they were lucky to cover last week against pitt) - if you look at team stats, these teams are actually not that far off - definetly think USF has played tougher schedule - concern is that USF has quite on coach, i don't think this is the case based on some quotes i've seen from Holtz

Yea leaning USF at the moment. L'ville will be pounded by the public. Last time BJ Daniels went to Louisville they won. USF has played a much tougher schedule and has been in every game (Temple scored a garbage td late last week). Coming off a bye should help also, allows them a fresh start at trying to finish the season strong and become bowl eligible.
My concern is their lack of pass rush and inability to stop the run. Bridgewater is a pretty accurate QB and if they give him time that does not help the cause. Also the Ville's rb is coming off back to back 100 yard games.
With that being said, I think USF actually has a great chance to win SU here. They are a very talented team and this could be the game that changes their season and I feel like they realize that.
Also the Ville might be looking ahead to their game with Cincy next week another undefeated Big East team so, USF might be catching them at the right time.
USF has something like 23 seniors on this team including BJ Daniels. They understand that they need to win this game and turn their entire season around and they have the talent to do it which is why I believe the line is so short.

good stuff Lawson. I think the bye week is going to be huge for USF. give them a chance to clear their head after a disappointing start to the season.

Abizzo and Lawson you know BJ Daniels is that guy you hate to bet with and hate to bet against. Ville backers are gonna be hating that they bet against him this week.

I dont know man the more I look into this game abizzo, the more i think this could potentially turn into a Louisville blowout like uconn v cuse if Daniels committs a turnover or two like he is capable of.
Will probably pass on this game all together. good luck my friend
