Game one takes us to Virginia as CUSA’s #2 Ranked JVST (Rankings are based on Conference records) takes on #4 Liberty as Rd Dog this evening.The Gamecocks have not played well on the Road this season with the only win coming against Kennesaw St. JVST has only been the Dog once this season getting destroyed by Louisville.
The Flames ranked 4th in Conference Play have only felt defeat once this season and know that a win here makes them BE. Their only loss this year came at the hands of 1-6-0 Kennesaw St.
Both Teams will be putting extremely talented Offenses on the field tonight, and both sides have injuries as well, however, at this stage of the season everyone is beat up to some degree. On the other side of the ball, Liberty’s has a very Good Defense allowing less than 23 PPG. On the other hand, the Gamecocks Defense is near the Bottom in the NCAA this year.

These Teams are on the opposite side of the spectrum in terms of Win-Loss record and potential post season play. However this is the first season of FBS play for the Kennesaw St. Owls, However their only win came vs Liberty. That win will definitely become a part of Owl Lore as Liberty entered that game as an undefeated -26.5 Favorite.
The Hilltoppers Offense is just above a middle of the road Team with a defense that hovers around the lower 3rd Nationally.
Kennesaw St. suffers miserably having the Worst Overall Offense, Yds Per Run, QB Rating and scoring Offense. They are next to last in a few additional aspects Offensively. While on Defense the Owls Team truly is not much worse than WKU’s. Despite the fact that they live at the bottom of Scoring Offense, the Owls have not be shutout this season.
