As I had stated in the first bowl posting which pushed, it wasn't a great finish to a very mediocre CFB season. Lost quite a few BIG PLAYS which brought the overall record down obviously. Just being transparent last time out I think I was like 0-5 but that was November 16th (outside of the push on Memphis earlier this week). Quite a few games and some that I do like enough to post. Hoping everyone is having a great weekend and positive start to the bowl/playoff season:
OVER 52 (SMU/PENN STATE): I actually like SMU in this game catching the points but only because I think they will be able to score a bit against PSU. Both teams can really move the ball and PSU has struggled more against QB's that can run, as Kevin Jennings can do. On the other side of the ball, PSU averages about 6 yards a play and PSU QB Drew Allar is also quite good with his legs creating more opportunities. Played in frigid Happy Valley I'm not sure the weather will greatly affect this game and I think the total is a bit low b/c of the weather. Game played on a Saturday so shouldn't pose an issue playing on some random day of the week and the portal for both of these teams has been somewhat quiet so I expect both squads to be fired up and the scoreboard to follow.
I will be back in a bit with another play. Tackling a move presently but wanted to post this and get it out. I also needed to update my full CFB record as I just haven't had a lot of time with everything and a medical procedure earlier this week. Keep the comments positive and, as always, tail or fade, good luck to all...
