After a well played game last night...sound tackling, great defense on both sides we have to watch this piece of shit. I think that the quality of football on display will be substantially different. Neither of these teams are within 2 tds of either squad last night...
ND has turned the ball over at will this season and shows its youth on a weekly basis....letdown vs syracuse, blown leads vs pitt and unc, almost a cough up to navy. That is the definition of inconsitancy.
On the other side you have Hawaii whom has turned the ball over at least 5 times vs Boise st and San Jose st., then plays thier ass off against a very good Cincy squad.....wtf???
However, Hawaii will be ready to go, and one thing they do well is hit hard (many times after the whistle). Expect ND to be under the gun early in this one, if the domers can weather the first quarter without being down 2 scores, then they have a chance. Hawaii has played much better on offense since the QB change to Alexander....he looks like a mature guy less proned to mistakes than the other stable of qb's.
After the home fans at ND pelted thier own players with snowballs after the Syracuse loss, you have to wonder how much the players with ND give a shit about showing up to play hard for the glory of grand old Notre dame. Hawaii will be intense and ND will have to match it.....is it possible???
The best play here is a no play, but being a degenerate makes passing on xmas eve nonrealistic.......give me the points...not because I think hawaii can win, but I think ND can lose!!!
Hawaii +3 or better.....screw it......ML too
