Good grief, it's been quite a past couple days for some of us. My last 3 bets have been:
Washington +10 Miss State -6.5 Iowa +14
a trio of bad beats that I'm sure many of you share. Hopefully, today will provide some relief for that Oz-like treatment Senor Moose has provided the past 2 days.
Meineke Car Care Bowl: Northwestern +10 Just too many points to lay for an Aggies team that's allergic to closin things out, and against a team that's typically competitive in bowls. Not to mention, Northwestern likes to break out the trickeration because they're desperate to break their 6-decade bowl drought.
Sun Bowl: Utah +2 The Aggies' coach is a beast in Bowls. The Hank Pyms (bonus points for whoever gets the reference) are oh-for their last 6 bowls, and their triple option offense usually works best against teams not familiar with it. Utah knows it well, and should be able to slow 'em down, and score on a subpar D. I may play a little on the ML, too.
Liberty Bowl: Vanderbilt -1 I'll probably regret this, but I'll take the crappy SEC team over the decent team from the crappy Big East. I can't imagine Collaro will be 100% following a broken ankle less than 2 months ago. Vandy has definite motivational edge, since they rarely go bowling. this matters to their program.
The Fight Hunger Bowl: UCLA +3
Worst game on the board, but what the hell ... UCLA ended the season at leasting trying to compete. Illinois looked to have just called it a season. And 4 of their assistant coaches were threatening to be on the sideline over a contract dispute. How about that for a distraction?? I'll take the points.
Chick-Fil-A Bowl:
Usually, you just take the SEC team and call it a day when they take on the ACC in a bowl. But this Auburn team is a MESS. ill take the points with a tough Cavaliers D.
BOL to all, and Happy NewYear!
