Not one poster on LSU - and that's a total joke

I've alluded to this in other posts.  I've seen some of the bests bets on the board missed every week in this forum and it's overall been disappointing.  And I usually don't post on here because I'm usually more concerned about myself winning than I am about other posters, but I think the quality of capping here lately hasn't been good for the average casual bettor on here looking for advice so it's time to chime in.

This game is common sense.  This is a NIGHT GAME IN LSU.  You have a conference USA team vs an SEC team with one of the top 3-4 defenses in the country who will be sending multiple players to the NFL on defense.  LA Tech is gonna get bullied at the line of scrimmage.  Period.  For those of you not betting this game, particularly the regs here, how the hell do you think LA Tech is gonna score here?  13 points would be a good game.  They're not gonna be able to run the ball.  We saw Miami get mauled the first game.  We saw Auburn really struggle at home last week and at home they get 27+ on just about everyone.  You just can't overthink this.  LSU is so physically superior in this game.  On the flip side, you have to expect LSU to get 30+.  LA Tech is a conference USA team.  Conference USA teams don't play defense.  LSU should be able to run the ball well.  They have a QB now who is very confident and has some swag.  Look at that interview after the Miami game.  He likes the fact that everyone, including people on this forum, think they aren't any good.  This guy can hit open guys.  Yeah, I know he wasn't great last week, but Auburn is really tough on D at home and overall I still thought he looked comfortable back there in the pocket.

To me, this feels like 37-6.  It's hard to project how many points LSU gets here because they played a road game at Auburn and a neutral field game vs Miami.  Those defenses are so much more challenging than this spot.  But the way they moved the ball in those games and the overall flow of offense suggests to me they are certainly capable of hitting the 40 mark here.  Again, they should be able to run the ball and win at the line scrimmage.  There should be open receivers to throw to.  This is LA tech guys.  Add in the intangible that this LA Tech can't ever score big upsets vs top teams. 

LSU isn't a lock.  Nothing is.  But to be betting other games, while avoiding this one, is demonstrating poor judgment.  You can't not bet this game.  You make LA Tech cover.  Period.  If LSU reverts to what they were vs Troy last year . . . then so be it.  But that is extremely unlikely based on the way they have executed the first 3 weeks here guys.  I'll lay 20 to LA Tech who will be dominated on both sides of the ball.  And very importantly - my team is at home.

I couldn't agree more with you, LSU is a beat you down to the ground team , they are going to lean on them and win by at least 24. Great call.

LSU probably lays 42, but it's not that great a bet?  What you just said bears no common sense.  If LSU scores 42, how many points does LA Tech have to score to cover?  Do the math now.  That would be 22 or more.  Auburn at home couldn't score that many points.  Miami, who put up like 50 last week at Toledo, couldn't do that on a neutral field.  But LA Tech, a far less superior team who can't run the ball and has never had a big win in the history of their program vs a top 10 team, is going to do that and not only do that, but on the road in a nighttime environment?  LSU has one of the best home fields in college football by the way.  It's a brutal place to play when they can actually move the ball.

LSU isn't a "sexy" team.  I don't care.  This game is a low variation spot.  You know LSU mauls teams on defense and they're gonna pound away on you on offense. I know what I'm getting in this game, and that's why I like it. 

You wanna share with me the other value on the board I'll be happy to discuss.  There are decent bets out there.  I'm gonna be on 8-9 other games.  

By the way, people overrate the psychological stuff like crazy here.  According to many people, if a team plays an inferior team there's going to be sluggishness every time.  Where you get sluggishness is a team coming of a big home win that goes on the road the next week to play a competent opponent who isn't getting a ton of respect.  This is LSU's home opener vs a legit FBS team.  I don't recall who they played in Week 2.  But week 1 was a neutral field game, and last week was a road game. 

Nah, I like it. LSU is gonna lay the beat down. I think the low line has the sluggishness built in already.

Last 4 times LSU has played a non-SEC team at home, they HAVE NOT COVERED. Maybe the players tail gate with the fans?

Blowout, post my other plays?  Posting this wasn't enough?  I don't need to post all 10-11 games.  I felt strongly about this one and BECAUSE I DIDN'T SEE ANY POST ON THIS FORUM ON LSU, I DECIDED TO POST HERE.  If I saw 10 guys already on LSU, I wouldn't have bothered with this.  But I thought it was ridiculous no one mentioned them so I felt the need to give my analysis here.  

 It is LSU's home opener for a LEGIT FBS team.  You clown.  I mentioned in my post they played some hack team in week 2.  Southeastern Louisiana.  I can't even count that as an actual win.  That was a warm up.  Like a scrimmage.  Not an impressive win 31-0 in terms of points scored

I have a feel for certain games.  This isn't LSU from last year buddy.  Get that through your head.  What I said speaks for itself.  They are the more physical team by far.  LA Tech won't run it on them.  And LSU will be able to run it on them because their D is soft.  You got domination on both sides of the ball.

I would have taken LSU giving 23.5 here too.  

Good start I'd say.  But we'll see how it ends up.

Seemingly obvious plays often do not get the same attention because their is consensus. Water is wet type of analysis here. But $s is $.

Blowout, your posted plays went 4-3.  And you lost last week.  What exactly are you winning?  Hey retard, why don't you wait a good 4-5 weeks.  Take a lesson in sample size sweetie.  I'll be happy to challenge you to see who does better the next 2 months.  

LSU and Bama both covered the halftime lines.  They didn't for the game.  That's a bit unlucky buddy.  If I posted for the first half, I wouldn't get any criticism now would I?  Hey it still counts as a loss.  But to say they were awful picks?  You picked Texas AM because you thought they could hang with Bama.  They didn't.  They backdoored after Bama took Tua out in the fourth.  If that facemask doesn't get called on third down with like 7 min left they probably don't cover.  My analysis in terms of the teams was correct.  It was stretching it thin in terms of value though because Bama sits out every fourth quarter because the game is over.

LSU got up 24-0 and got complacent.  Then when LA Tech got back in it LSU turned it up.  LSU is more than 20 points better than LA Tech if they go hard the entire game.  But that's the danger of betting them.  They get up and get conservative.  It's a reflection of the coach.  And so for that reason, yeah maybe wasn't the best bet.  But it wasn't awful.  There is a major talent gap and 19.5 is a reasonable line.  

How about the fact that I called the total right in the Missouri game.  That I called the Oregon game right.  Yeah, I'm not counting that as a Stanford when when you can kneel it with 50 seconds left and you decide to run and fumble.  And I was the only on on here who liked Kentucky.  I didn't post that though.

You're not a professional capper.  And wahoo, you wanna defend your buddy go ahead.  You don't post picks anymore and why it's totally cool for you to give advice, don't comment on my record or anyone else's record because you don't post.  But I have nothing against you.  Blowout is the only guy who has whined after I commented in his thread.  

Also, I drink regardless of winning or losing.  I have better things to do than sit on here all night and comment on this win or lose.  I don't access this site on my phone.  Only on my laptop.  Hence, I'm never gonna be on here doing much commenting on weekend nights when I'm not by my laptop.

And lastly, I teasered both games.  I won on the teaser.  That's how I usually bet.  In these types of games getting an extra 6 points is huge, regardless of all the guys who hate on teasers.
