Game Spread: No Play for me
To me:
-Too great of chance this game could be within the spread for either team
-Too great of chance this game could be won by 10+ by either team
A la.....................that should be why this game should be a good one to watch, among many other reasons.
That said, my play is the over. I know that both defenses are very good and deserve attention and respect. My play is more so due to all the play makers on the field on offense that will end up making too many plays. In addition, if any turnovers happen to shorten fields obviously that is extra help in this play (I expect at least one turnover if not more to make impact the game).
OSU: Barrett, Dobbins, Weber, Campbell, Dixon, Hill, Victor, Baugh (all are rolling and executing since Oklahoma)
PSU: McSorley, Barkley, Gesiki, Hamilton, Johnson, etc
(obviously rolling)
My pick is due to the fact that I think both offenses over the course of the game will outplay/expose some level of the opponent's defense.
PSU will have success with OSU's secondary, potentially also with the linebackers too.
OSU will have success with either the point of attack on line of scrimmage as well as spreading out Penn State's secondary.
I hope both defenses do play well and can put some stops together for a better game, but this is my pick, OVER. In the end, I think this game is really tough to pick the spread!
This pick is only as good as Barrett and McSorley, I expect them to both play well (with Barrett playing much better than many people think he will).
41-34 game and if a little less still covers 56.5 OVER.
