Ohio State/Texas

I think both teams are going to be cautious.

Ohio State games averaged total points per game this year is 50.

Texas games averaged total points per game this year is 48.7.

Both defenses are better than the average teams these 2 played against this year.

But, Ohio State has been rolling up the yards and points since their loss to Michigan.  

Ewers, the quarterback for Texas, isn’t going to beat Ohio State.  Texas running game might.  That running game will be chewing up clock.

This could be a snot knocking, pound and grind effort on the Texas side.  If Texas can’t establish the run and control the clock, they are going to get whipped.

I’m leaning Ohio State -6 and under 52.5.  Under in the first half might be a good play too if Texas invests in the running game.

I just ask myself how can Texas win.

They aren’t going to win with Ewers passing against the Ohio State defensive backs.

They have to try and establish their running game.  If they can’t, they are toast.

Texas gave up over 500 yards to Arizona State last week and 450 yards to Clemson the week before.  

Locked in under 26.5 first half -110.

Texas has to establish the run and shut down Ohio State’s big plays.

2 touchdowns in the last minute of the 2nd quarter but we got the under anyways!

Those last 2 touchdowns make me think the offenses are figuring out what the defense is doing.

I’d lean over 45.5 for the game total.  The desperation is going to call for balls out.
