 Venables is familiar with the option offense from the time when Tech ran it against him but Navy has added a passing dimension to it now.  But I still liked OU until I saw the players that are taking a dive and opting out, especially their stud ILB, a key piece.  With bowls you have to look at who is happy to be there and lay it out, our service academies aren't allowed to quit on their team so they will play with pride.  OU may still win but I just don't trust their attitude.  Sad what has happened to this sport.  No play for me but GL to you...I will be watching stress free.

Venables has never won a Bowl Game with Oklahoma. 0-2.

That's more transfers than I have heard any other program have to deal with. Souns to me like the stress of playiing at Okla with all those expectations got to many players. They were 2-6 in the SEC with one strange easy win over Alabama when the Tide offense could do nothing.Maybe Venables is overrated????

Sounds like they took out their frustrations on Alabama, and this was their bowl game.

The athletes on defense for Oklahoma can limit Horvath and the run attack....but this Okla offense is going to look like a Frankenstein of itself with a freshman QB who will do his best NOT on set organized plays, but on busted plays, and how GOOD can that ever be over a long game?

Okla is a 1 year SEC school, so more like Big 12, and that conference took a major hit, now with ASU as Champion.

I'll take Sooner 3rd teamers over an armed forces team all day.

QB of Okla looks awful and can't throw a pass....but Navy can't handle extended plays.....QB scrambles......this is a shit game to watch. Better games are later on.
