You deserve to lose. The public is overly optimistic which drives the lines up. Furthermore, those who bet on road favorites are ever bigger idiots. Keep driving the lines up so I can smash on the umderdogs come game time.. Oh... And I love betting against popular teams too. So public, keep laying those monster spreads for me.

Sorry brotha, no one consistently bets favorites or consistently bets dogs just because they are that. U pick and choose when to play on or when to fade. C'mon maaaaaan! These useless threads are just a plain fuckin waste o time. If u aren't gonna write anything to help us all make some money, then don't write shit! Fuckin clown!

thinking the closing market number isn't close to the efficient number because the public loves favorites so much is just lol. literally almost worse than most squares leaning on the fave 90% and no play on the other 10% haha

Backdoor covers happen because the favorite doesn't give a $hit about the spread... Favorites can lose 2 ways... Dogs can win outright or cover. I like those odds...

Agreed that road chalk is usually bad, given the fact that the home team never gives up, even after the team in the lead on the road started packing.
However, you making that thread after the game is over on a backdoor is a rather douchey move. But then I don't consider it a backdoor cover because the last team with the ball was meant to score in this no-D game. The home team + the points on a Friday night lights was the play. I didn't play it. I had the over. Let me gloat a little

Keep taking the dogs and the teams that suck. I will take favorites when i cap the game and take the loss. Yes i agree in overflated lines because of the perception but thats why you play situational favorites and not play the favs blindly....

Sure. If there was a fool proof system we'd all be rich and those big shiny building would not be popping up in the middle of the desert. But this was not a "situational favorite". On the road, on the year following the loss of their star QB, no defense, ... No doubt Baylor could score a lot of point, but they only played Sam Houston and SMU and both of these schools scored a bunch of points on Baylor.
Then you have ULM, who played 2 SEC teams and took them both to OT. Sometimes you gotta break it down. I don't feel bad for not taking ULM, if they had scored one possession earlier in stead of the backdoor, it would not even look like a lucky cover.
