Teasers really get a bad rap around here, but if researched properly these dirty bastages are nothing but gold! For example, tonight had Kent State and Colorado in a 6-pt teaser....Colorado lost by 25 pts but with the teaser I was getting 27.5 pts. Anybody that took CU straight up lost. $700 winning teaser right there.
There is definitely a benefit to getting those extra points. Love me some teaser action....especially with the big action going tomorrow.

teasers can be profitable if used correctly, like to get over magic numbers (3 and 7). Just throwing a bunch of games in a teaser will hurt more often than not though.

I read recently on an ESPN Insider article that if you can get a 2 team, 6pt teaser, taking 2 home dogs getting +2 they have historically hit at a 63% clip.
You cover the important numbers of 3 & 7, not to mention your at home.
I know it may sound like a lot, but on a average weekend you can find 2 or 3 games in this spot.
I'm a fan of teaser myself when I can cover the important number. Congrats on the win.

Teasers in college football are an absolutely terrible bet. The extra points change a loss to a win about 15 percent of the time. 2 team parlays getting 2 point 6 to 1 are a much better deal in the long run. In pro football they are much better where the extra points help over twice as many sides. Most winning college football teasers would have won anyway as 2 team parlays, more than making up for the occasional loss not having the extra points.

I disagree...they are not a terrible bet. You have to know what spots to pick for each teaser. Had I took CU tonight straight up I would have lost my ass. The extra points saved me.
Trust me, I know in the long run they are a suckers bet, but if you play it smart and research and pick your games wisely, then teasers are more than profitable. I have been winning on teasers for over 8 years now.

If you have doing teasers in college football you are costing yourself money. Take a look at your winning teasers. Add up all the ones that would have won without the points and pay yourself like a parlay. All the ones that would have lost get rid of the juice you have to pay on teasers. I assure you you are losing money by teasing instead of 2 team parlaying. They are not a good value in college football, period. If you have been winning, you would be winning more money the other way.

Interesting... I kind of like that idea actually. Normally.
But, for today, that puts us taking a teaser on Kentucky (+2) and Rutger (+2.5)

You pay for what you get. All plays will equally work as long as you are in the right side.Last week, there were 18 out of 54 games where 6pts teaser works well.
I prefer 3-5 teams with +10pts favorite parlay.
