Points for and against NEB vs. IOWA

As many know, I'm in heart of Big Red Country 

For Neb, the positives as to why they MAY win/cover:

Its their last game (call it their bowl game)

they've lost many games by just a score or less

it's at home

senior day

They have NOTHING to lose, so could lay it all out there

Iowa has MINIMAL offense

Neb has GOOD defense 

The negatives as to why they wont win/cover:

QB Martinez out, freshman QB starting with VERY LITTLE playing time

Week ago, Frost fired 4 of his long time offensive coaches. 

Offensively Neb is mistake proven, although much to do with Martinez 

Neb is BISMAL in special teams.

VERY unlikely any field goals will be attempted. Note above.

VERY doubtful ANY punt returns or kickoff returns will be returned, only fair caught. Note above.

Punt and kickoff return coverage is EXTREMELY week. Note above.

They have NO special teams coach. Note above 

Iowa has a top defense

The only thing that matters is Frost is a LOSER Coach...Nebraska will probably lose by 3-4 points and that Will be good enough for Big Red Country...Moral Victories.

Completely agree. Especially Neb special teams play. Iowa should feast on that

Why is Neb still favored? New qb with little playing time.  Why even get roped into betting this game?

Just take the over in Texas game instead!

QB is the biggest actor but it still didn’t really move the line much. Tough call, this game could go either way to me. See lots of decent pickers here on Nebraska though.

this is the husker bowl game. hawkeyes are on upset alert. 

Been watching this Nebraska team. Man... they are hard to watch. Its like emote facepalm every other play.

However... i am taking Nebraska in this spot. The public is wrong here.
