I saw Illinois play last week and this team is horrendous , plus the best player on D for Illinois got a concussion last week and I believe he is out ( Jake Hansen ) . Defense had a close to non existent pass rush . Secondary horrendous , D line is stout vs the run . QB peters looked like a trash can and the receivers couldn’t get separation if they were playing in a senior citizen league . Anybody seen Purdue play ? Leaning towards laying the points .

I know I'm taking the Over. I also watched Illinois play last week, and that offense was putrid. That's one of the reason's I'm taking the Over. I think Illinois does score some this week, and it goes over. That total is high for a team that only scored 7 last week. Over it is :)

I'm on Purdue -6.5. Last week the one-two punch of RB Horvath and WR Bell were too much for the Hawkeyes. There is absolutely no word on WR Rondale Moore from Purdue. He didn't play last week but was on the sidelines in street clothes. Coach Brohm will not say why Moore didn't play or if he will play this week.
Illinois has good size on D-line that should help contain Horvath, a big 6'3" RB that looks like a tightend running the ball, but I think Bell and QB O'Connell should do some damage.
Peters is the question mark. Will he find his groove today? I think Purdue D has enough to keep him in check. Illinois has no running game.
