Don't get me wrong, I understand the market says UM by 4.5 and predicted game score of 32-27 or something like that.
I just can't stand the UM trolls, obviously the same song over and over again without responding to any other content.
Yes,his basic point is ok...,but UTx and Ore had too defences too and were killing good teams by 20+ points (and that descriptor flatters OKSand OreSt. They could have lost by 40 each)... So UM handsomely beaten monsters recently
But what about everything else?.. Zero response from Penix having destroyed a good UM defence in 2020. Different to-coordinator but UM's historical issues were with OHS
Here's something:
Penix 2020 Indiana and 2 years at Washington...13-1 straight-up vs. ranked opponents. 10-2-1 ATS... 8 points away from perfect SU and Big10 East champion.. 4 points in total from perfect ATS record...I
His 2019 season was only outstanding. But again perfect SU and ATS in 2nd half of season.. Didn't play too much in 2021but often injured

UW ATS cover by 7 point average. UM by 5 point average...... UW played far better teams. Iowa is mediocre.
3rd game back both teams missed ATS by alot.
Washington is 4-1-1 ATS vs. ranked teams
UM is 2-1 ATS vs. ranked team.. i graded "your weak sauce.. i hope we can get out of our own end zone so we can get to overtime" as an ATS loss.
i really don't get you... many UW and UM ATS games run pretty close to the spread. why isn't that enough?....... good luck on UM scoring 55 points. with escrow, i will give you very nice odds on that.

No reason to argue with emotional, bar stool capping idiots Rockfish.....
Michigan O is not explosive enough to be a slam dunk play - if they get behind or game is close late, they might just get outscored. Huskies are tough to read - ON PAPER they have little chance.
>> D : bottom 5 in rushing success, line yds, and sacks --- bottom 25-30 in havoc rate, tackling, red zone D, TFL. Also among the nation's most penalized (#128 / Mich #1). Looking at the best rating system we have ( Bill C's SP+) you have to go back to 1950 to see a D so lowly rated, playing for a title. yikes
*Raw* numbers put this at 6/7 probably - for me 3 seems about right. Washington plays to their opponents level - a dangerous team AND coach to bet against. Last 32 times Kalen DeBoer has been an underdog, he's COVERED 27. BOL
The impediment to action advances action - what stands in the way becomes the way.

My thoughts eggzactly BA...UW is one of if not the most unpredictable team to handicap that I've seen reach the Championship Game. I think there are plenty of arguments to be made for both teams. UW for their defense, or lack of. They would be the worst defensive team to win the NC. But in contrast, Michigan would be the worst offensive team to win the NC. So pick your poison. Being the degenerate gambler that I am, I'm going to have some action on this game. I'm just not betting my double wide on it...

One thing about UW's swoon vs mediocre teams, it is pretty much acknowledged that Penix played through a pretty serious injury to, I believe, his throwing shoulder. We're there 2 or 3 bad games? Anyway, they were bunched... And now suggestion he had flu too.
And I always try to be objective in analysing info flow... Shoulder injury seemed legit.. No idea on flu
2 other questionable games... Oregon State. The radio announcers said it was wettest game they ever remembered (at one point at least).. In Pacific northwest that's saying alot... No idea why penix kept throwing fastballs and really timing plays..an hour without completing a pass.... UW did cover the spread
So that leaves WSU game.. Rivalry, good opposing QB, WSU good early in season..still a head scratcher
Excuses I know on some of the games but they really are head scratchers
