Rainbows and Cats

I will get the luxury of seeing this one live .. don’t have a dog in the fight but always wanted to see a Hawaii game ( traditions ).. hopefully Covid restrictions will not screw any of the warriors..

Watching the total... first thought is the under by looking @ the money but we will see .. will be a pretty day here in Texas .. low to mid 50s .. A short cougars team and two pretty good offenses .. not the high flying teams of past but above average.  Houston is the better team no doubt but this is basically a home game for them.  Short 4 hour drive north on hwy45..If Hawaii can stay out of 3rd and longs , this game will be played in the low to mid 30s IMO..   I see a 38-31 type game ..  Motivation is a big thing in these type bowl games .. Small crowds will not give Houston any “ home field” advantage .. Hawaii can at least make this a trip ..  

Again this is just my opinion .. if the numbers and money is right , who knows what I will do .. if this number goes up then I’ll take the under .. I usually don’t play stats when it comes to bowl games ..becasue you just never know BUT I may throw a couple dollars on the total to have something to root for at the game.  Hopefully it’s the over  but will see tomorrow .. Even if I think it will be on higher side of scoring , I will try to be different 

If any fellow Texans will be at game , I’ll be on Hawaii side around the 103 section few rows up ..

 I did not realize that you are also from Texas.  I am heading to the Houston Area for the Christmas Holiday, otherwise, I would be there myself.   I am on Houston -10.   Enjoy the game.

Born and raised !! I was just in Spring last night .. I actually live somewhere around the 45/75 highways .. I’ve lived in Austin/ San Antonio areas (helped some 6th street establishments back in day ) , Dallas and East Texas ..now in DFW

As for Houston play , if I was going to take a side it would probably be Houston but couldn’t lay that much chalk on half a team .. take for granted a full squad and this line is 14-17 but still too much for me .. good luck though.  They SHOULD win and may just cover BUT i usually go totals when playing with fire .. good thing about the absentees is most will not hurt them .. a few will but we will see ..Just don’t know if they will be up for it .. leave Houston for Frisco and play in a soccer stadium ..??i guess it beats New Mexico

If this game was played in the evening , I'd see the value in the points more , but the lines where it is because oddsmakers know the travel factor could well give Hawaii a slow start .

Weather report says winds picking up. By game time 20 mph with higher gusts. But then again, we know how accurate weather reports can be.

 I’m about 5 miles from stadium right now and the wind is not blowing ( outside the normal fall/winter Texas stuff ) .. it’s Texas so there will be a little.. there may be a little wind tunnel through the stadium like most stadiums we have here BUT I don’t see anything right now that’s significant .. it’s a pretty day with a little breeze .. I got shorts and a hoodie on , nothing major.  Bad ass day for football

Its Texas though .. it could snow in next 15 minutes and then be a 100 degrees 5 minutes later  

I’m going with the over today.  Getting it at 58 after buying a half... it’s will be a dollar play so nothing major... be more of a fan today

i may of lied to you ..  there is a little more a breeze than normal.  It’s gusty so we will see .. I’m in parking lot now .. see some of the surrounding trees bending a bit so we will see ..

Yo superbeets can you post if you see that its getting into the stadium .. ie see people at field level pants flayling around / hair russling in the wind etc .. seems like unless the wind can get down to field level it doesn't matter much .. realize it's a low stadium so might really get in there but maybe let us know if you can.. seems like we just get ALOT of misnomers with wind and often not much of an impact .. 20mph is something but not exceptional .. need those 25/30 mph gusts to really screw a play up ..

 I’m not in yet .. but it’s moving.  I was on the highway few miles out and it didn’t seem this bad but as you sit in car and see flags , I would say 10-20 mph GUST.

Bunch of line movement I’m seeing .. I ave 4 different books and this total has gone from 58.5 to 60.5 and Cats from 10 to 7.5.  Wild.  

Beat advice I could give it don’t get to wrapped up in this game because it’s the only one.  Too many unknowns with Houston    ... if you play make it a normal to smaller.  There will be plenty more
