What are your research methods when handicapping? What makes you like a certain team? What information do you look for?
A million answers, no magic formula.
Know the teams before the season.
Know what lines to expect.
Determine when to bet. Some bet at opening lines, some wait closer to game time.
Follow teams you wager on, injuries, transfers, etc. Know who key players are.
Find what works for YOU.
Couple of sites I use for info; teamrankings.com
cfbstats.com
Learn from this guy, Bookieassassin. Over the years a wealth of information and links. Dig through his old posts, 2018-back.

my big 4 are:
statfox.com
teamratings.com
sagarin
massey ratings....
first 2 are really big.........
STAT FOX: ease of use, simplicity, layout... and then click-through to all kinds of things like game logs.... downside for me: not that good on small handheld. not as comprehensive on stats as team rankings.
TEAM RANKINGS: ease of use, comprehensiveness, ease of use/simplicity (but different than Statfox)......... downside, wish it had a summary page like statfox does.
