Last season the Louisville Cardinals suffered one loss that killed their perfect season. It was to Rutgers by three points. Revenge......the Cardinals will want this one bad. Plus a win will keep them above .500; a percentage they haven't finished under since 97' and will also help them gain eligibility for a possible bowl game. Brohm will be trying to impress NFL scouts, so I expect an explosive display from him every time he touches the football. He’s already tossed for 3,787 yards and 29 touchdowns, brining his career totals to 10,538 yards and 70 touchdowns. Another factor to figure in is the Cardinals Harry Douglas. He set a single-season school record last year with 1,265 receiving yards. This year he leads the Big East in receptions and receiving yards per game and has 1,113 receiving yards on the season, meaning he will need just 153 yards to break his own record. I look for the senior to have a big game here because it will be his last game at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. Now, we all know that the Scarlet Knights are going to get their yards and points against this Louy defense, and who wouldn't expect them to with a guy like Ray Rice in the backfield, but when everything is said and done, I have the Cardinals of Louisville capped coming out on top by 10. This is my pick and Good Luck to everyone!!

home dogs are usually the call but since the cards are at home it seems too easy. I would be more confident with the cards -6. Vegas wants you to put money on the cards. Scary line -2.5 seems way to easy.

What a tough game to call. Disappointing season for both teams with such high expectations at the start of the season.
A couple of games just keep me from picking the Cardinals 1) they lost to Syracuse, Rutgers buried Syracuse 2) the Cards took a beat down from South Florida at the end of the season, Rutgers beat South Florida when SF had everything to play for 3) and finally Louisville has just not played very well this year as a team. Broum has kept them in some games but you never know who else is going to show up and actually play. I watched one game and they lost with two of the Cardinals key receivers suited up and sitting on the sideline.
Good luck to Louisville fans but I'm thinking Rutgers wins straight up.
