Already posted PURDUE + 3.5 and GEORGIA + 1.5 as System plays, here's where my plays go Saturday:
ARIZONA -3.5 (TOP PLAY): last week's top play (GaTech) romped; this game just looks too easy! Let's see...2 weeks ago Washington stuns USC. Last week they lose a heartbreaker at South Bend. How much emotion and how many miles have these guys gone thru in 2 weeks? Arizona had bye last week, Stanford on deck..no excuses if Wildcats aren't ready!
BGSU -1.5: Falcons thrashed by Boise last, Kent by Baylor. BG simply a better squad, 7-1 SU last 8 vs. Flashes. I'll take a short road fave off a home loss.
ARIZ ST -21: Another coming off a home fav loss (to OregSt), and to Georgia week before... look for the Aztecs to try and run one up; not many more opportunities!
COLO ST + 8: Big rivalry here, one heckuva home field and these 2 traditionally play low-scoring games. EightIsEnough?
MEMPHIS + 2: Typical example of Vegas giving too much emphasis to last week (UTEP over Houston). On the road now, Memphis desperately needs a win.
LSU + 8: LOVE IT!! Tebow or no Tebow! Urban embarrassed these guys last year, don't think Les is gonna forget. Not the team, not the athletes...but enough heart and pride to keep it close.
