This pick may be as much of a fade of NCSU than a bet on Cincinnati. I would love to be going with NC State here, but after watching them in their first 3 games I just can't do it. Glennon has played very well this year, but there are too many holes in the rest of the squad. NCSU has yet to get its running game going. The defense is missing some very important pieces. Cincinnati will have enough going tonight to cover the number.

Thursday game:
Cincinnati -7.5 = (1 unit)
This pick may be as much of a fade of NCSU than a bet on Cincinnati. I would love to be going with NC State here, but after watching them in their first 3 games I just can't do it. Cincy -7.5 for 1 unit
This one is a win, but man it was a lot worse than I wanted it to be. As an alum from NC State, I knew we were going to lose, but I didn't expect this kind of beating. This was truly pathetic.

I locked this one up early in the week. GT and UNC has been a fairly close matchup over the last few years. This years GT team leads the nation in YPG and PPG. While those are impressive numbers, the impressive part is that this year's option oriented offense has something that it hasn't had in the past years....a passing game. this will be the difference in this game in my opinion. The defense of UNC won't be able to focus in on the run solely. GT wins this game by double digits.
Michigan St. -22 = (1 unit)
MSU is the much more talented team here. Coming off their loss to Notre Dame, MSU is going to look to get back on track, finally establish the running game, and continue the Cousins to Cunningham connection that has been so effective this year. CMU on the other hand has been sad all year long with their only win coming against SC State at home and 2 losses coming in blowout fashion to a bad Kentucky squad and arch rival Western Michigan. MSU scores early and often today running up the score on a lesser manned CMU team.

Saturday early game plays
Georgia Tech -6.5 = (1 unit)

Stepping out to a local watering hole to enjoy some football today so I thought I would get my afternoon play listed.
Virginia -3 = (1 unit)
This is more of a gut play. I like the look of this Virginia team this year. They are young but have shown a lot of heart. I believe they have enough to take it to Southern Miss today.
Will have some late games to post when I return...assuming I can still type.

Rice was able to beat Purdue at home in their last game on a blocked fg at the end of the 4th. That was a nice win for Rice. This week they aren't at home...and they aren't playing Purdue. They are going up against one of the best all around players, RGIII, in college this week. Baylor started the year with a huge win over TCU and followed that up with a blowout win that was called in the 3rd quarter due to weather. Baylor comes out and totally takes it to Rice and has this one well in hand in the early second half.

Florida -19.5 = (1 unit)

The passing and running attack of Oregon will take advantage of the Arizona defense tonight. While Arizona will move the ball like they have all year, they won't put it in the end zone enough to put up a fight.
