SO, who is going to win it all?

Honestly,

This year, on a neutral field, you are going to have to be really consistent and dominant over 3 games in a row (4 games if you are the 9th - 12 th seed I would assume).

Who has shown that?

Is there a team or two in the SEC that has shown that over 3 games? What about in the Big 10?

Consistent and dominant are the right combo to be.... who is that? I know who you cannot say that are rated in the top 15 (based on results game by game and the full body of work):

Texas (could argue to go on the other side below)

Alabama

Penn St.

Georgia

Ole Miss

Miami (cracked like ones above)

BYU << not dominant

Tenn << not dominant vs good teams (Alabama win aside was impressive)

Boise

Consistent and have shown dominance tendencies:

Indiana < almost blinked last game 

Ohio St 

Oregon

Notre Dame (small crack and then became dominant!)

Remember, this will not be about winning one game but getting through 3 tough wins!

Here is a copy of the predicted TOP 12 out of Sports Illustrated I believe and the likely first round playoffs. Top 4 on this list get a first round BYE:

It would mean that 

Oregon would play their first round match vs likely Notre Dame (not sure if Indiana can beat them?)

Texas would likely play Alabama

BYU would play Georgia or Tenn (this week should show us who is boss)

Miami would play Ohio St

Ohio st would be in there

 The first round bye goes to the winners of the Big 10, Big 12, ACC and SEC

Yes....which is why as of now, they project >> Oregon (BIG10), Texas (SEC), BYU(Big 12) and Miami (ACC)

The irony is.....3 out of those four leaders are not original conference teams !

If you want "value".....gotta be Bama or Ole Miss

 SEC vs BIG10 will battle and last year, B-10 won that battle with Michigan beating Alabama

Its close this year and anyone of 4-5 teams just might get 'consistent and dominant' enough to win it all >> yes, Bama and Ole Miss have the pedigree but I favor Ole Miss due to having it on both sides of the ball and showed this vs Georgia

Deep down, I want Ryan Day to get some 'shine'....and like this Ducks program and my ultimate underdog crush team is Ole Miss or Notre Dame now that Michigan has taken the crown

Actually the first round byes go to the 4 highest ranked conference winners.  It might not be the winners of those 4 conferences.  Boise State or someone might be ranked higher than the winner of the Big 12 or ACC.  

From the games I've watched that featured most of the top college teams Oregon in my eyes looks to be the favorite, their offense when it's clicking seems unstoppable.
