Lar, I may play 1 or 2 two team parlays a season. I have played one this season in CFB where I won one game and pushed on the other. Got paid like a straight bet.
Rather than a two team parlay, I like to play two team "Reverse Parlays" sometimes referred to as "Double Action" or with my book a "Turn Bet". A winning two team parlay pays 13 to 5 compared with a winning two team reverse parlay paying 4 to 1. Big payout difference.
Example Reverse Parlay:
Wager...1 win/1 loss....Both teams lose...1 win/push....2 teams win
Much better payoff if you feel strongly about two teams. As far as teasers, I never play them.
Good topic for the forum. Thanks Bud!
Just how I play...others may differ.

I used to play a lot of teasers. The one thing I've learned above all is to never do it with CFB. It's so tempting to raise or lower a total, and man can that one bite you, especially with OT.
Sure, your going to hit some, but CFB teasers will bring you to your knees.
PRO is much more predictable, not easy, just have more percentages on your side.
This is a great topic, and I'm sure some guys will chime in on their experiences, and advice.
Looking forward to it.

Teasers are sucker bets. Last night is a perfect example. Me and a friend both liked N Car and UTAH. I bet $110 on each and lost $10. he bet a 6pt teaser and lost $110. to make matters worse, the local we bet with, considers a push a looser. Bottom line is if your not confident with your pick to bet it straight, then you should not bet it at all.

Walter and Cooler make great points! For Degenerates like myself, who know they are going to ultimately make more than 1 straight bet, I tend to do Reverses (ESPECIALLY, if you can Identify one strong play) so you can have a lot of fun and do multiple reverses : )
I agree wholeheartedly with Cooler... NO TEASERS in Coll foot.... The Point Spreads are much stronger in NFL and your Extra points go a long way.... DO NOT Tease in College football just not worth it.

I disagree with previous posts. I have done very well hitting 6pt teasers on NCAA. I'll use a stance of (-14) or less on teams I like , mostly favs, some dogs. Reg parleys pay better. Most will call it a "sucker bet". I say, "value bet" it's all about the ATTITUDE. if ya think your gonna loose, you will 'sucker'. Hit a 10 leg NCAA $2 - paid 1600.$. Wk3. Several 5 , 6 , & 8 leg have also been profitable.
