The strongest argument is with the first sentence. However, it doesn't explicitly say "no action" if not played on same date as originally schedule.
One could reasonably interpret a delay as a reschedule but definitely not a "postponement". I would argue that a delay to a next day is sufficiently a "reschedule".
please lets us know what the manager says.....if he/she voids it.....then others effected could use it to strengthen the argument that other books are voiding.
I just talked to an online book supervisor......they say that they go off of pacific time b/c vegas is in the pacific time zone and all the time times for games on the website is posted in the pacific time.
THEREFORE, SINCE THE GAME STARTED ON THE SAME DAY ACCORDING TO PACIFIC TIME THE WAGER WILL COUNT!
I disagree with this ruling b/c vegas does not schedule the games. The NCAA does! However, the online book does have the games posted according to the pacific times which sufficiently supports their argument. I think the rule should be written to be more clearer.
The super visor told me to call back in a hour to see if he can authorize some time of accomdation due to the confusion.
if the 10:15pm and 12:05am were PACIFIC TIMES, then according to this online book that I talked to....the wager would be cancelled.
