Every higher seed prevailed in the first round of the CFP. But in the second round, Texas, Penn State, Ohio State and Notre Dame, all the lower seeds, could all win their games. Just goes to show the seeding this year sucks…this system needs to be refined. Boise State getting a bye is the biggest travesty. And if you bring up the early Oregon game, you clearly don’t watch college football. Oregon sucked ass to start the year. Even Idaho was a challenge for them.

Would just like to bump this thread as I’m a perfect 8-0 in the CFP. If people are curious who I have in the semis and finals, I’d be happy to do write ups.

Good post. I agree, the seedings were a joke. How could two teams with byes both be double digit dogs? (Boise and ASU) Penn State had a cake walk to final 4. Texas should have too but struggled against ASU. Meanwhile ND and Ohio State had much tougher draws. Hopefully as one poster stated, they fix this joke next year.

Yes, I think the committee should lean on team rankings vs. Champion of any conference. If they do that, I honestly think we'll keep seeing some decent "out of conference" matchups before conf play begins. If not, some of these bigger schools will start scheduling "little sisters of the poor" type schools. Hence, boring crap games going forward. We shall see....
But look who's in the final 4. I think the best teams are in it.

Very impressive work! I read your thread a couple days ago, I took your advice but lost with Georgia! I would be interested to hear who you like moving forward ! I think Ohio State wins whole thing!
There’s no hotter team in the country right now than Ohio State and admittedly Texas has not looked great and needed a miracle to even survive Arizona State. I’m a HUGE Ohio State fan. I think that everything that can possibly go wrong will go wrong and Texas takes it in a squeaker. I think Penn State’s defensive line shuts down Leonard and the QB —> TE combination of Penn State is too much for Notre Dame. That brings a Texas/Penn State final. I realize there’s almost no chance of that happening, but if it does, I’ll come back for a final game prediction.
