@badlands
interesting that you're so confident with Pitt, despite no Kenny Pickett, Tysir Mack, or DB Mathis. Pitt is also without OC and TE coach will call his first game. I understand that Mich St has some serious issues against the pass, and without Kenneth Walker they will need to rely on Collins, Simmons and Peyton Thorne to move the ball on the ground.
I just dont know how you can count on a backup QB who will be making first career FBS start. Pitt had a great season, because they had the best QB in CFB. Not only was he able to get team into better play at the line of scrimmage, his 50 starts made it easy to read defenses presnap and know exactly where to go with the ball. Pickett has phenomenal accuracy on all three levels, and the chemistry between him and Addison has been developed over two seasons. Pickett is also extremely good at extending plays/drives with his legs (big part of beating Clemson). and he rarely made a negative play (sacks, penalties, fumbles, int's)
Even with Pickett, Pitt lost two games by 3 points, and there were about 3-4 others where they easily couldve lost to teams like Virginia, Tenn (Joe Milton started), UNC..
Im not trying to convince you not to take Pitt, but maybe instead of going big on them with no idea what their QB will look like, perhaps dont go as big, and after watching a couple of series, and Pitt's QB is playing great, than go big on live bet
