87-70-5 &#x2B;196.9 Units YTDBeen a rough few weeks, but still a monster season. Cant wait for the bowls as I finished last years bowls on a 24-4 run. Navy was a great matchup over Mizzou and those boys from Ohio State were phenomenal - already getting me excited about this years matchups. 10 Units Arizona State &#x2B;6Well, those of you that have followed me know we havent lost an ASU tilt yet this year. I have rode this team quite a bit and absolutely hammered them in a few spots - against USC for one....so I am sure you guys arent surprised to see me on them here. I love this matchup. I think this will be a bit more smash-mouth than expected and I have the Sun Devils taking this with defense. They are the more consistent team, they move the ball a bit better on offense and they have a huge LB edge. While I am always a bit leery about the Zona D Ends, I think ASU can neutralize them enough here to get the job done. Getting 6 points in this rivalry is huge and I think Zona peeked very early on this year.  Vontaze Burfict

I will be on ASU myself tonight as well. They are a very good team statistically as their yards per play stats indicate this line should be around 3. I actually think ASU wins this game straight up so I will gladly take 6 pts as well. ASU outgained Oregon and played Stanford to a 4 point game. Meanwhile, Zona got smoked by these two teams the last two games.

ASU has really had some tough luck losses this year and this team is much better then their record indicates. ASU lost to Wisconsin on a missed PAT, lost to USC on a blocked PAT return to the house, lost to Oregon by 11 because they had 5 turnovers, and lost to Stanford by 4 at home.

I am not posting a bowl record for last year - I was just mentioning how excited I was considering the run I was on. It was documented, but that site is long gone by now. If I were to post a record, I would have it up at the top with my normal record - but one thing you havent noticed from me - I dont get cute and have multiple records. Having multiple records is the shadiest thing on Covers.

I don&#x27;t necessarily buy into this "mailing it in" angle or the Arizona State can become bowl eligible angle as extra motivation. Perhaps both are true, but I don&#x27;t think people outside Arizona realize how much these two teams truly hate one another. This is a very heated rivalry between the only two cities worth a shit in Arizona, and the fans/teams really loathe the other side. Barring BCS hopes, this is each team&#x27;s biggest game every year. With that said, I do agree this line is too high. Was expecting 3.5-4, and maybe even a flat 3. GL tonight. Sparty - you blow

Now, you dont think that, but just about everyone else disagrees with you. So, I will go with the majority as far as my time on Covers and how I conduct myself. Usually, when one person has a problem, its not everyone else.

Listen, I am not buying into ASU becoming bowl eligible, either, really. Its a long-shot, maybe it gives them some motivation, maybe it doesnt. But, if you cant get up for a game against your in-state rival, I dont know what you are doing. Talent levels on each team are about even - but I give an edge to ASU. Getting 6? I thought it was a travesty. Maybe Zona isnt mailing it in, but I think they peeked months ago.

ASU can&#x27;t become bowl eligible. 2 of their wins were against Portland St. and Northern Arizona. 6 wins wouldn&#x27;t do it. They needed 7. Having said that........I agree with EVERYTHING that you stated. Zona hasn&#x27;t won in a month...........and they are giving points to their in state rival. I&#x27;m on St.
