In math, we call weather a variable.....It can affect in-game play, however is not a stand alone determinant for the outcome....

For a counter example to your example, last night's Temple game scored more combined points when it was actually raining than they did when it was just cloudy.....

Definitely look at other aspects of the game/teams besides the weather conditions....good luck!
