I'm torn because just like you stated, both teams statistically are pretty even. Power rankings say to pound Toledo here, but the gut keeps saying Ball St. Probably going to leave this one alone now...GL

I think -6.5 is a big line!! Now if it was 4.5 that would be a square play. Vegas wants us to think this is an easy jump on on Ball St. We all know these MAC teams have the potential to score on each other. But when it counted most Toledo's d held an explosive Arizona team to just 24 points, and a Big East team in Cincy to 23 points and beat them outright. They did give up 47 to Central Michigan, who is terrible, and almost lost to Buffalo but if you watch that game, the weather was terrible. I just think laying 6.5 on Ball St. is more of the square play, especially in such a big game like this.

Chiefan34, what power rankings are you looking at?
the strength of schedule site i was looking at is:
https://www.gberatings.com/sos/
its showing Ball state had the better schedule so not sure how you would find them ranked higher from a power ranking perspective...
It was on the matchups, I don't read too deep into these though, I was just stating on what was on the page. I took the total over just because of the awful defenses. Both teams left points out on the field, especially the missed FG and touchdown called back. Oh well, I did follow up tonight with Bowling Green ML +115. I lean heavier on defensive numbers and yards per play, not the ratings on this site.
