So how much of that debacle, for the most part, is he responsible for w questionable playcalling? I'm no xs and os expert, but why in the world didn't they run more screens,RPOs,quick slants, etc to neutralize, overcome that tremendous pressure M was under all night? Did they roll him out at all? And running it up the gut last play? Wouldn't a RPO have made more sense?
Impressed as heck w Mich play. Surprised the heck out of me...and my parlay. Kudos to Harbaugh...hell of a job.

Personally , I think Rees did the best he could with the talent he had
to work with. Bama should replace their O line coach immediately.
Their talent level is not what it has been in the past , and it was exposed
in this game. Saban better pass the hat and try to scare up some more
NIL money and hit the Transfer Portal hard this off season.

Yet,the OL had been playing much better of late believe giving up only one sack prior five games. Moreover, they dominated the UGA DL. Many reference the improvement of the OL second half of season. Instrumental in Milroe s better play also.
Rees getting hammered on the playcalling on numerous fronts. OL just got punked.

In general, a play is called with a check and based on what you see from the defense, you call one or the other. It’s possible that they just didn’t get the right look on defense, or the QB made the wrong check. With no time outs left, Milroe just tried to be an athlete

They had already taken two TOs hadn't they? I understand snaps were bad. Notwithstanding all this, I feel Rees called a very poor game. W few adjustments. Ala got out coached badly imo.

Alabama averaged allowing at least 4 sacks per game over the
season including against inferior opponents. That did not just
happen vs Michigan. That should have been corrected , or they
got out coached. They won't get away with that crap in a 12
team playoff next season. It was not Milroe's fault.

Alabama's O-line was exposed against the Mich D line. Mich D line is exceptional. Surprisingly, Bama looked faster on the backend LB and secondary. It was a good game. The better team won, for sure.

If I was Nick , I'd take some NIL money and buy a couple of the best
Offensive Tackles money can buy. It will make his Offense a lot better.

They called the TO as Rees had called an rpo with Milroe likely keeping for tuddy, BUT Saban didnt like it and called for straight up the gut believing his O Line would win the line....
