Tons of Ole Miss love in here but I respectfully disagree

Line opened at Bama -17 and has trickled all the way down to -14 where we sit now. ESPN has been talking the young freshman class of Ole Miss up all week. Lets compare schedules here 

Ole Miss

@Vandy
SE Missouri St
@Texas

Bama

V-Tech (neutral site)
@Texas A&M
Colorado St

I see a pretty big discrepancy is competition there. Unless of course Bo Wallace is channeling his inner Johnny Football with 2 Hail Mary's and 95 yard TD pass on his own 5. I am in no way knocking Manziel, he's an elite player and deserves all the on field accolades he has received. My point is 2 TD's in reality is nothing to a Bama team at home against a young Ole Miss squad. I understand the are ranked 91st in rush offense and 58th in passing yds but its only week 5. 

Youth will shine bright in the game and i expect Alabama to win by 20+. Ole Miss just isn't there yet. Just when you think you have gained a leg up on Saban he pules a eurostep and goes past you. Be careful with this game folks. As always thoughts and comments are encouraged. GL to everyone

People on here watch espn talking heads that have been talking ole miss up all week because the game is on their network. Wallace is one of the worst qbs in the league. Sure he is athletic but throwing is not his specialty and he will have to beat Bama with his arm.

Now I know Bama has problems in the secondary and ole miss will hit some big plays. I have already taken ole miss +17 but In no way will old miss. One close to beating Bama. To place a ml bet on them is throwing your money away. After last weeks game Saban practiced them harder than they have all year. Some key players stepped up and talked to the team saying how last games effort was not acceptable. Bama has no look ahead here and with ole miss players running their mouths I am sure Bama is very focused. If Bama comes out focused even 75% I might loose my bet. I am banking on a few broken coverages by the young and talented old miss wrs for a few tds.

Alabama fans are restless.  Yes.  Even with an undefeated record, fans are calling out this team to play with more intensity.  This Alabama defense is not the same of years past. Their Quarterback play may be near the best it has seen in years past, but for some reason this team is not clicking like past championship teams. The good news for Alabama is that the only team even close to their talent level is Oregon.  And, the physical nature of Alabama vs Oregon isn't even close as Bama would prevail.  Back to this weekend's matchup... Quarterback Bo Wallace in the past week called out Texas A&M and Alabama saying his receivers were good enough to put points on the board easily versus Bama and that his receivers were much more talented than those Johnny Manziel throws the ball to.  Bad news for Wallace --- he faces both Alabama and A&M this year.  Bama is up this weekend.  Something tells me Nick Saban is going to make a statement in this game.  Ole Miss is riding high with an undefeated record.  Who has Ole Miss beaten?  Vanderbilt (in a last minute win), Southeast Missouri St and a dismantled Texas team (the week they fired their defensive coordinator).  Bo Wallace is going to taste lots of grass in T-Town.  Bama was embarrassed by A&M even tho they escaped victory and last week looked uninspired playing Colorado St.  Saban is going to make a huge statement this weekend.  I see a Bama win somewhere in the neighborhood of 44-20.

Wait and see those young receivers , with size mind you, run all over the bama secondary that is starting two true freshmen as well. Only difference is that these receivers, including the new tight end, are much larger and more physical than the secondary of alabama. I am not calling a win, but the game will be within reach for either team as time runs down.. In my opinion... heck Va Techs horrible Offense out gained them in that game. If not for the special teams td's it would have been close even with Va Tech's offense at the helm. We sha'll see.

What 2 true freshman are starting in Bama's secondary???? John Fulton is a senior, nick perry- senior, jarrick williams- junior, vinnie sunseri- junior, Ha Ha- junior, landon Collins- soph, cyrus jones- soph, deion belue- senior, geno smith- soph, eddie jackson is only freshman and he does not start. Get your facts straight bro

Alabama rolls here. 

Virginia Tech has a top 5 defense.

Johnny Manziel is a special QB. 

Bama isn't facing either in this one.  Ole Miss has got some talent, but Bama I think will start to get the train rolling the rest of the season and it starts with this game.

BAMA cruises in this one. Too much hype and love for undefeated Ole Miss and when that happens....................

Why are we talkn about this game.
No brainer, Bama rolls. If this was in Ole Miss I could see a real challenge, but in Bama. No way

Don't over-think this.
There is a reason why Alabama wins championships year in year out. It's cause they don't lose to mediocre teams at home.

Ole Miss coach Hugh Freeze has been a money machine against the spread during his coaching career.  He is 22-6 ATS in his last 26 lined games.

Alabama is not close to the team they were last year.  No pass rush, weak corner play and no consistent running game.

By the way, I live in Alabama and have been a Tide fan all my life.  This is going to be a tough game today!

Bama wins easy…Ole Miss is talented but young. That defense completely shut down Bo Wallace and the rest of the Ole Miss offense. Nice 4 unit cash. GL the rest of the week
