So... Now that UCF is claiming a national championship this season... I wonder how that’ll work for Vegas and websites that had future bets for the NCAA football champion. Thoughts?

I meant.. if you have a futures bet. Saying that UCF will be the champion, do they have to honor it? Since UCF is claiming a national championship.

Back in the old days you could try to 'claim' a share if you went undefeated or were a top 3 team and went undefeated but even back then the polls decided who the champion was because there was no bcs championship game or playoff. It was whoever was #1 in the polls. But UCF? No . No chance at all to claim anything except a bowl win.
