How many coaches would have made this decision?
Not to mention, they run some QB sneak that had no chance. If you are gonna go for it, at least try to draw them offside.

If USC had the ball in this same situation…up by 3 points, 4th and 1 from their 34 with 4:59 to play, I guarantee they would have punted. It doesn’t matter up 3 or down 3, 4:59 is an eternity when you have 3 or 4 timeouts and the 2:00 minute timeout. At this field position is the important thing in a FG game.
I thought they were just trying to draw them offsides and would call timeout. Can't believe they went for it on their own 34yd line with 5 minutes to go, all 3 timeout left and only down 3. Their defense was playing well all game. And to call the worse call QB sneak up the middle where USC stacked the box instead of a fake to RB and QB roll out was terrible.
Definitely something shady going on and cost me a lot. I had UCLA+5 and it took shenanigans for me to lose
