I'm sure it looks enticing getting points at home in what looks to be a toss up and expect the forum to have a ton of ARKST love. Some think we just saw ULL win last week so they'll lose today. The problem the spot isn't there to just fade ULL. If you read my posts about this team you know how I feel about them as they are the class of the Sun Belt with a difference maker in Broadway. He played one of the worst games of his career and still won easily. Doubt he plays two bad games in a row.
The difference is the offensive line for ULL and how they can control a game. They have one of the top offensive lines for a mid major and will punish ARKST all night. They can beat you a variety of ways and can control pace. What makes them interesting is they are a spread attack that is a low risk, no sacks, pound the ball while using a very slow pace yet have a very high % of big plays over 20 yards.
ARKST's last game they played awful, the score was a lot closer than it looked as I watched that game because I had ARKST and their defense against one of the worst teams in CFB was offensive. It was a 7 pt game in the 4th quarter. ULL should do whatever they want on the ground and if they play ahead they can shorten and control the game.
I like taking this team because they have one of the best coaches nobody knows about. The HC Hudspeth is great recruiter and in game coach so I know I have the better coach most days. He took over a program that was awful and the past two years has won 18 games with ULL, 60 games the last 6 years. It's no accident they are covering machines and win close games. Teams take on the personality of their HC and Hud is a winner and so is ULL. They'll find a way to win tonight, if they play well it'll be a DD win.
