The line movement from -6.5 back down to -4.5 tells me that Rising won't be playing. It won't matter. I will never take a Mertz led team to get the win in a historically difficult place to win. The Utes have been one of the best home teams in the country these past few years. I've seen plenty of Mertz to know that he is complete trash (he completed around 50% of his throws last year. Couple this with the fact that he is on the negative side of rush yards for his career). Does not bode well when facing a team in Utah that returns 9 defensive starters from last year. 

All this mertz talk distracts you away from the three headed dragon backfield Florida has. Montrell Johnson, Trevor Etienne, and a top prospect from the State of Florida Treyon Webb. Mertz isn’t going to blow you away but he’s going to have his moments. 

People bring up stats like it has anything to do with him in this Florida RPO offense. Make it make sense 

I’m rooting for the kid to go out there and light up that utes defense who’s missing their best cover corner to the NFL ( 4th round ) Clark Phillips III 

Mertz certainly blew chunks at Wisconsin. No doubt, horrible! The kids' probably improved some. College players tend to do that rather quickly. I got a feeling the staff at UW wasnt the right fit for passing game development. Napier might be better by a long shot. I do know last years game sticks in the craw of the Utes. Should have won even though Richardson ran over, through and around them (he was crazy good that game). No Ricardson now. Been looking forward to this since last year. My seats are right next to the student section ( the MUSS). Gonna be crazy Gar-ron-tee.
