Expect Utes to be a top 10 program by the end of the year . If this was in a Florida I would consider taking the + but Utah is a tough place to play. Defense, offensive line for Utes is strong.

All depends on Cam Rising playing or not. I haven’t seen any updates but know that his rehab wasn’t going well and coaches were being suuuuper careful with him. Allegedly he’s done very limited to no conditioning since his injury. Curious how that plays out. Utah is my pick too, just a little scary if he doesn’t play. BOL!

 Agreed a little hesitant without Rising but still pulled trigger. Gators beat them last year with Anthony Richardson. He’s no longer there, I expect a revenge game here . Good luck ! 

Revenge game, solid Utah defense, and high elevation is a tough assignment for a team playing its first game. Florida will be sucking wind in quarter four.

Agree! I can't see Graham Mertz going into Rice-Eccles and pulling out a W on the road. Saw enough of that kid at Wisconsin.

Florida is going to push Utah all over the field.

Etienne is going to run all over Utah, and will be deadly in the swing pass game. And Florida has added significant speed and play making ability to its wide receiver corps. Utah's QB, Cam or not, is going to be under serious pressure because why not? Whittingham is crazy if he plays Cam. Florida is the fastest defense Utah will see all year. Cam is going to get hurt if he plays because he will not be able to squirt around pressure so easy on a bad knee against a very fast defense. Utah doesn't need this game for its season to be good. But Florida has a ton to gain from a victory. Just another reason not to play Cam because this is a Lose, Lose situation for Utah since the Utes are supposed to win the game. I don't think Cam plays and a couple late TD runs by Florida breaks this thing open in the 4th. Florida wins going away.

Utah got beat by Florida last year because of their talented players (with no identity nor chemistry)…..now with a second year head coach and with better talent, Utah is not going to be able to keep up. I expect Florida to force a turnover early and take momentum in this football game. Utah is going to struggle on offense. Mertz has 30 collegiate starts under his belt. Whoever is playing on Thursday night is coming off an ACL injury ( 8 months ) or correct me if I’m wrong, someone who has 1 start under center. Florida flys to the ball. Utah will be pushed around 

Florida has everything to gain with a win. Utahs strength is the defensive line, but I saw Florida be able to run all over them in the Swamp. They’re an SEC school so Utah atmosphere should not affect them all that much. You are getting experience with this Utah football team. With Florida you have a better talented team, who’s going for the win, and nothing but the win. When Florida is the underdog, except them to be HUNGRY 

Utah's atmosphere and elevation have caused USC fits for years. Florida is not better than USC right now.
