I think he'll start! Couple broken ribs, come Saturday it'll have been four weeks to heal. Acc game against Pitt they'll want him out there. Most importantly I don't think they'll even announce he's starting until game day similar to game with ND. I'm not sold on Pitt either. They really haven't beaten anyone worth while. Unc and Clemson both overrated as we've seen their demise this season. Uva defense held strong with ND too. If this kid starts I think uva wins outright!!
It will be three weeks since he broke his ribs at game time. Broken ribs take 3 to 6 weeks to heal. I bet big on Notre Dame last week guessing he would be out. When he didn’t start the line jumped 5 points. If he plays he is one tough dude but you better believe he will get tested by rushers who want nothing more than to tackle him in the ribs. No way do I bet Virginia here. Their defense sucks and their Injured QB is just about their entire offense.

Train you think even with their backup they'd stay in this game? I think they can! Pitt is not notre dame and just cause Pitt is a "ranked team" doesn't mean they're unbeatable. Pitt hasn't beaten anyone this year worthwhile and this is huge huge game for uva. I see them coming to this one all in plus the backup had his chance last week to get his nerves out and now should play a little better. If uva can put up 21 points I think they cover.. no way uva let's Pitt score more than 35pts.. not that offense.

Virginia gives up the 12th most sacks in DI. Pitt blitzes its CBs and S more than any team and is 3rd in sacks per game in the entire nation. For what that is worth

I don't know Pickett>Armstrong to begin with and more weapons. Good Luck who ever you choose. Pitt really playing to win ACC. Virginia play a lot to happen. Pitt has scored 85 more points and given up 78 . Pitt 7 points away from playing in CFB playoff. Overlooked NIU to lose late very early in the season and then lost in Pickett's worse game againt Miami vs a Freshman with no starts. Pickett broke Marinos passing record threw for over 500 yards but both Ints were huge one lead to a Miami one yard TD run the other was a bad throw to superstar Addison at the Miami 4 that would have given Pitt the win pretty brutal I thibk they take it out on Virginia, win the ACC and Pickett wins the Heisman.

I hate to reference the ACC as a whole but I think the ACC is not great this year. Clemson having a down year UNC was overrated and underperformed. You look at Pitts stats this year is against underperformed ACC teams so most of those stats don't impress me too much. Granted same goes for uva but that's why I like them here. I think uva is better than they've shown last two weeks. Also uva last two games were night games and losses..Pitt is at 330pm. They seem to play better in the day. Lastly uva could give a darn about the tech game next week. THIS is the last game of their season against Pitt. Everyone thinks that Virginia Virginia tech game is big deal.. it's like the pro bowl game to uva... even if tech wins by 40 uva walk off the field winners cause the school is so vastly superior is a joke to compare the two. Tech kids are tools uva kids go on to run the world. I'm convinced this is uvas super bowl of the season
