The Dawgs only as 3.5 point dogs will have the squares giving their money away on the Vols thinking they are the real deal now. Biggest let down spot as humanly possible in college football, they gave their souls for that game yesterday and UGA is coming off of a beating they haven't seen in years. Smart has shut this offense down many years at Bama, while he doesn't have the same talent right now at UGA he certainly will put them in the right places to succeed. Ole Miss has been a bad matchup for him and Saban so the beating yesterday should have been no surprised to anyone. Don't be shocked in the slightest if UGA takes them all the way and even win SU.

agree with you here, this spot favors the Dawgs for sure, neither of these teams are special so anything can happen, Dobbs doesn't have the same throwing ability as Kelly, this may be an upset, should be good game to watch

That game is always within a score it seems. Chubb w some unfinished biz w the vols and underappreciated pass D that got rocked last game. Hope that line goes up from there!

I grabbed it as soon as I saw it at 4.5 I knew it would go the other way reverse line movement all within the same day in a few hours. The Gators flat out choked yesterday that's just as simple as it was, and the back up QB was not able to do anything in the 2nd half to dig out of it.. If the starter was playing the game would have just gotten worse in the 3rd quarter and they would have given up because their faces said it all in the first half and they were ready to do it again. Yesterday was nothing short of a miracle with that type of defense losing with a lead that big, that was the biggest blown lead the Gators have ever pulled off in my lifetime and even worse than the choke at Doak. Don't be fooled, the Vols are not some great football team they are banged up to hell and their schedule is about to be as brutal as it gets. I don't know if they will have anything left by the time they run into Bama. UGA is nowhere near as bad as they showed yesterday and now this is the perfect spot for them at home with a team they match up with well with a QB that can sling it. A good qb can eat UT's defense alive without sutton, even the backup that's not any good was KILLING them in the first half and ended up with over 200 passing in the first half alone and three touchdowns and ended the game with over 300. Their defense is very suspect without maybin and sutton and they can't stop the run. These are two things UGA will do to them and in a big way, the only thing that separates this game is how well the Dawgs defense plays, I think it will be an ugly game but UGA will move the ball on them a lot and I will be very surprised if UT wins to be quite honest. They have started 0-2 in SEC play the last 8 years, they are the same team we have seen last year and the same one the first 3 games of the season. One half didn't change that with Gator injuries and flat out choking when their best corner went down. There will be very good money fading the vols the next 3 weeks based on public perception without knowing how banged up they are and how bad their coaching is. The best case scenario for them in any game is to come from behind because we all know what they do when they have a lead to sit on, and that's what will happen in this game on the road. They will do similar to what Florida did yesterday. I see a lot of people talking about how they have all this momentum now, no they have more pressure on them than ever before and they have no idea how to deal with success and this is new waters for them. Hell when they were up by 10 with 5 seconds left they didn't even know how to line up correctly in a victory formation because they have never been in the situation before. they were as shocked as everyone when they won yesterday it was very evident. I know this team is an overrated fraud and the entire SEC east is as bad as it has ever been. UGA UT are not very good football teams, UF will be the best of the three when Del Rio comes back and they have the easiest schedule by far of the remaining three. Same with UF, now that their stock is down if Del Rio comes back they play Vandy and LSU without a head coach, very good opportunities to take advantage of with lines being off against them.

agree with that, I didn't expect that Gator defense to give up that many points, I did lean Tenn in that game because Del Rio was out and the Vols were desperate against the Gators, I didn't bet it because I thought laying points was insane, I thought line should have been 3 so I knew I wasn't laying 7
anyhow, I agree Florida is probably the better team, I don't like McElwain that much though, he's kind of a dbag
I didn't get this line at 4.5 when it opened and it's 3.5 now so I'm going to wait it out, I would take 4.5 like you did if it gets back there and I'm thinking it may once the regular bettors get closer, its only Sunday night so I'll wait on this one and see what happens
nice post wheels

There's no time for bitter in this business, I know what football im watching. Nice shallow way to look at it though. I've watched every game they have played, they have soooo many flaws that will get them beat and this week is the beginning of their problems to get them beat.. everyone knows they should have already lost Saturday and got exposed with a back up QB.

I don't trust Dobbs as it is, but even less on the road. I don't really like their running game either. Butch Jones is a joke as well.
That said, I haven't been that impressed with anything I've seen out of UGA either. Eason looks to have some potential and of course there's Chubb, but they're really young everywhere.
Agreed this game is UGA or pass from an intangibles standpoint (UT letdown + UGA at home off bad loss), but will likely pass here. Too many other better options on the board.

Yes, classic letdown spot.

Tennessee is better than you think, I believe... That was a much closer game against the Gators in the first half, that the score indicated...All the Vols could do is shoot themselves in the foot, and simply could not catch a cold...and to come back and play the way they did in second half, says a lot about them in my opinion...

I bet Tennessee -1 pre-season on the GOY lines. Thinking about a hedge here but I could use an expert opinion. What do you guys think? Should I put a little on Georgia and the points? Or maybe ML for better odds?

If the Vols are sharp all game this should not be that close.....Nothing is ever guaranteed in this racket but I'm very confident.

Stop overthinking this. Georgia is a fraud. They are nice on defense and Chubs is great. But when you stack the box, they can't do much. They are poor on offense even with Chubbs. It has been painful to watch them the past 2 years.
Granted the Vols maybe overrated when the year started, but I like them in this spot because offensively they will be able to move the ball. I like my chances if they are in front (obviously) or if they are behind.

Georgia has many defensive problems. The defensive line and linebackers are one of the worst groups in the SEC. Secondary needs some help also. After 4 games the defense ranks 70th nationally.
My take is if the Vols are not patting themselves on the back by beating Florida the first time in 11 years...they will win this game easily.

Play on Tennessee this week. The time to fade them is next week vs Tx A&M. Tennessee beats UGA by 10. They will have fits against AM and thats when to fade them.

UT couldn't catch a pass in the first half and they were playing without 3 starters on defense so stop your crying. Del Rio isn't a very good qb anyway so no big loss. If the Vols convert in the red zone in the first half and could hang on to the ball the beating would have been much worse. Consider yourself lucky.

It was 12 men in the huddle you stupid fu#k. They could have easily punched in another TD if they wanted to. Urban isn't coming back so stop your whinning. Fl is a 7-8 win team for years to come.
