Seems this race is wide open at this point. I am a ND fan and would love if Teo won, but just looking at the numbers and what he brings to the table Johnny Manziel has had an amazing season and A&M would not be near as good without him. Thoughts and votes please.

Johnny Football. He is amazing to watch, great stats, and yes the Alabama win is a big point in his favor too.

Of course he's a Frosh so not sure that he'll get it for that reason. No one else really pops out like him but the freshman bit can't help; I think Teo will win if they win vs. USC on Saturday.

Johnny Football is the most outstanding player in the country... He shouls win... Te'o is good but co'mon man, he doesnt even rank in the top 50 in NCAA in tackles.. JFF wins it

I agree, Johnny Football won't win it. He's a freshman standing behind the best OLine in the game. I think if it weren't for Marquise Lee, USC would be even worse. I think right now I'd have to vote for Lee.

It was a mere statement on why Johnny Football is having a great year.  Without the OL that he's playing with, He would probably be named Johnny Scramble.  Read post #3

The Texas A&M O-Line doesn't get the credit for the awesome job that they're doing this year.  It was because of the Texas A&M O Line, that they did very well this year.  The O Line creates the running lanes,  gives the QB the time for the play to develop to find the receivers, and gives the QB the ability to run the ball as well.  Just saying.....
