Ward not playing 2nd half

Maybe this has been covered already or I'm late to the game, but did anyone knew that Ward was only going to play the first half? or did anyone got caught off guard? Otherwise, I don't think Miami backers would bet on Miami for the full game. (knowing that Ward would only be playing in the first half)

Had no clue I was wondering why they just didn't let ISU score the TD with 2 mins left.  I took them live in the 3rd qtr

Looks like he was only playing to break the record which was more a win for this Miami team then actually getting the win.  This is why don't bet the meaningless bowl games
