Washington to win by 1-13 vs Michigan bet

I don't think Penix will have any problem passing on Michigan. The Huskies have a much better o-line than Alabama and 3 top tier WRs. If Alabama can put up 20 on Michigan with a sub-par offensive line I see no reason why Washington can't put up 30.

Washington to win by 1-13 currently pays out at +300... the Washington Huskies have won 10 games in a row by 10 pts or less. They only blow out bad teams. My best guess is this game will be decided by 7 points or less late in the 4th with a total score in the low 60s.

Penix has only been sacked 10x all year

Milroe has been sacked 38x

Aside from the numbers being horendous for Milroe he was sacked in all but 1 game played. So even bad teams had no problem getting to the qb at will. I was surprised to read that the Alabama center had issues all year snapping the ball... why was he not replaced with someone else???

*If Alabama had an above average center that wasn't mishandling almost every snap Alabama would have beaten Michigan in the Rose Bowl... that guy single handedly killed a bunch of their drives.

He was bad. I can’t remember a game where I saw that many bad snaps. Love Washington to win this game.

I don't think I've ever seen a good team let alone Alabama with such a crappy center in a bowl game. I can't imagine that guy was ever a top recruit.

The center for Alabama played about as bad as the qb for Iowa.

I agree with most your points. I don’t know if this game gets to low 60’s though. Michigan runs the ball a lot and Washington loves to run the clock down between plays. Washington’s pace seems fast because they rail off such explosive plays, but notice how much time they took off the clock in the third and fourth quarter. A lot of that was just letting the play clock run down under 10 seconds. 

That is just smart football. Running plays is tiresome. You would think if your guys are better, you want them to have as much rest as possible in between plays. 

Oh, definitely not arguing if it’s smart or not smart. I’m just saying I question if they can clear 60 points because of both teams tendencies to waste clock. The original poster was saying they believe this game will be in the 60’s, I’m counter arguing that.

 Defending plays is tiresome. 

My only argument would be, if Michigan runs the ball 30+ times do you think Washington can stop the run? Texas averaged 6.4 yards per carry and Michigan could run all day.

  That works on paper, but if UM gets behind then they can't just keep running. Grinding out 7-8 minute drives is great if the other team can't score.

Good running teams average 5+ yards per rush against Washington so the Huskies will need some key stops/turnovers to keep Michigan below 30pts. If Michigan somehow goes down 2 scores they will be forced to pass which they won't want to do against this opponent.

I expect Michigan to have a hard time stopping the Huskies trio of elite WRs and their TE. I expect Washington to have an equally hard time stopping Michigan's run game.

Washington will need to score 30+pts themselves to win which I believe is very doable. Huskies to score 30+pts currently pays out at +145. They will also need some luck on their side.

If the game is close it favors Washington, if the game is a blowout it favors Michigan.

This is by far the best QB/WRs combo Michigan has faced all year. Ohio State had by far the best wr in college this year with Marvin Harrison but that team had a bad qb throwing him the ball.

A lot of Tom Brady / Michael Penix comparisons floating around. I can definitely see it.
