Ohio/Purdue... Boilers should feel good about themselves but will need 60 solid minutes to put away a tough Bobcats team
OKSt/USA... 1st of 2 straight true road games for OKSt.. no worries, 4 TD's is about right IMO
Sat:
Hurricane Irma could factor in... keep an eye on forecasts, be ready to jump on some Unders
Hawaii/UCLA... points look good here for the Warriors. UCLA in great letdown spot and still haven't proven much of anything.
CMU/KU... Can Jayhawks make it a 3 game winning streak?
Nebraska/Oregon... Huskers will be game. Ducks spanked FCS team, no real read on them yet. Look good here and Coach Taggert has them headed in the right direction
FAU/Wisconsin... Kiffin/Briles pace vs. Badgers pace.. Wisconsin will play down to competition for a full game in one of these OOC games.
Buffalo/Army... Army a lean for me, love the option
WMU/MSU... Sparty with ND on deck. Step up from BG... WMU tested. Could be interesting
EMU/Rutgers... chance for the Knights to prove last week wasn't just a disinterested Huskies team going through the motions.
ODU/UMass.. lean to Monarchs, especially if UMass TE Breneman can't go... look him up 18/305 in 2 games
NW/Duke... ehh.. not for me
USF/UConn.. Bulls should roll, -17 is a gift if they feel like playing... if they don't there is trouble a brewin for Charlie
ECU/WVU... Neers should roll... short week though. ECU embarrassed by James Madison, even if they have a spark will it be enough?
Cincy/Michigan... Harbaugh gonna take it easy on ex-Buckeye Fickell? I doubt it. Another game to make Michigan look better than they really might be
Louisville/UNC... QB for UNC? Ville with Clemson at home next week. 1st half play on Cards could be nice... if you trust them
Charlotte/KState.. should be a methodical beatdown, just not sure if it's a 36 point methodical beatdown
Iowa/Iowa State... typically a one score game. Iowa QB looked serviceable against a (normally) below average Wyoming pass d.
Wake/BC... snoozer of the week if it wasn't for UTEP/Rice
NMSU/NM... Fun game... NMSU with the better Week 1 test.
Rice/UTEP... hasn't Texas been punished enough the last week or so?
Texas State/Colorado... Bobcats at altitude, Buffs should name their score, up to you if you want to lay 5+ TD's
UAB/Ball State... Blazers could be game.. Ball State lost to Illinois, not exactly a confidence boost
MTSU/Syracuse... Blue Raiders did not convert a 3rd or 4th down in loss to Vandy. Cuse has to win their home games because the road schedule is brutal. DD line could be overreaction to MTSU's pitiful start, don't be surprised if they win
Indiana/Virginia... IU won ACC road game against Wake not too long ago. Offense looked good early vs Bucks before turnovers got to them. No idea on UVA, pass for me
Pitt/Penn St... Pitt backed off late against YSU after leading 21-0 at half. Still need to see more from Max Browne before I think about Pitt.
Fresno/Bama... Fresno with Bama then Washington B2B on the road. Bama gonna try to stay healthy. Looks like a 48-0 game. Don't bother
Tulane/Navy... you like running? I do. Just a watch for me though
WKU/Illinois.. No respect for Illini... WKU should pull away late
UTSA/Baylor... Oh man, if only UTSA had played last week I would love them here, but since it's their first game I can't touch it. At least I don't think I can.
MiamiFL/Arky St... Arky St has seen plenty of good teams OOC the last few years. Canes with FSU on deck....
SJSU/Texas.. Horns almost 4 TD faves... based on what?
TCU/Arkansas.. Watch this game. Don't bet it.
ULL/Tulsa.. Tulsa gets a chance to let offense shine, keep an eye on RB Brewer and which QB comes out looking the best.
Marshall/NCSt... Lot of points here, Wolfpack 3-0 last 3 years as fave of 21+
Toledo/Nevada... On the short list of totals for the week, liking the Over. Air Raid looked good for Nevada. Toledo can score too
ULM/FSU... See how Jimbo adjusts the offense. Hope to see a breakout for Cam Akers
South Carolina/Missouri... total went from 62 to 74. South Carolina more ready for game but Mizzou will never be out of it.
North Texas/SMU... line seems low to me, need to look at NT some more
Auburn/Clemson... another close watch. System ?'s for Auburn, QB ?'s for Clemson
UGA/ND... Eason out, Fromm in... Capable. Play book may be downsized for him. Focus on running with Chubb/Michel. ND defense to be tested. Under on my radar
Miss St/LaTech... could be fun, should be a huge game for Fitzgerald.
Oklahoma/OSU... Massive coaching edge to Meyer.. 1st road game for Riley, lots to deal with. 1st opponent edge to OSU... Meyer so sneaky, complaining about opening on Thursday vs. a passing team... all along I think he loved it. Great prep on field, extra rest off of it. Bludgeoning UTEP, not so much.
Memphis/UCF... big game in AAC, loser falls behind in conference early but both are capable of winning it.
Stanford/USC... lean Stanford, rested and ready. USC not there yet.
UNLV/Idaho... UNLV could roll over and die here... I expect a lot of points
Minnesota/Oregon State... Need to see more of Gophers before putting money on them.
SDSU/Arizona State... Aztecs didn't miss a beat on the ground, Penny just under 200 yards.
Utah/BYU... Holy War, always a close game. BYU backs against the wall early. Like Utah but gonna be tough to pull the trigger because of that
Houston/Arizona... similar to UTSA, no play on Houston because I haven't seen them
Boise/Washington St... revenge game for WSU, should get it and I think they do it fairly easily. Boise with QB ?'s and replacing McNichols touches will take a while
